Way to go Dustin! Isn't Mt Union where all the rejects from Ohio State go in order to win a National Championship? That is what everyone says anyway. Not saying anything bad about Mt Union, it is a great school, just ripping on my least favorite DI school!

This game last night brings the whole state back to the same old question yr after yr, should the KHSAA make it mandatory for every district to seed the tournament? If the weaker teams wins then so be it, they deserve to be where they make it to by winning a big game. The state is always worried about making the playing field equal well then every district should seed and let the two best come out into the regions. IMO! Good luck to the 4 remaining teams.

Glad to see Beth is feeling better, I guess! Last couple games I saw she played very limited minutes.

These two great players did not get where they are from playing w/their H.S. teams. I would be willing to bet they were developed in the summer w/their AAU teams. It is pretty easy to watch, especially girls bball, who plays AAU in the summer and who does not, IMO!

Fully agree and add the freshman SS/Pitcher newcomer, Zac Larimore. He will be very well known as the season unfolds from what I have been told. By the looks of it, there are several good small school baseball players in NKY.

Can't disagree both are very good but Nikko Tiepel will have something to say about being the #1 back in NKY. He also has the size and speed of a possible DI prospect, he is a specimen.

I knew everyone on this '78 team, at least the ones that played and Beal started as a Fresh w/Moeves at the 2. I personally don't remember playing against Walton or Davis in '78, they were younger. Pippen got drafted in '87, so who would have been on Holmes' team in '78.

They were brothers but I don't remember David playing in '78. I think this was the starting line-up: Beal, Moeves, Schloemer, Wimzie, Meyer. If this team wasn't the best, the were 2nd best behind the only State Champ produced by NKY, SK!

Conner(HHS) and Tiepel(Beechwood) should battle it out for the rushing leader.
