If they are not Sr's to be and live in the new Cooper Dist, they have no choice but to attend Cooper unless they MOVE!

Too bad we can't rely on the weather man. If we get the weather they are saying, some 1st rnd pitchers could come back in the 2nd/semi's depending on the number of innings they are needed in the first game. There could be only 2 games maybe 3 played tomorrow if we get the rain. This is a disadvantage to BHS/Boone.

I will agree w/one thing that most of these V coaches do not develope the better players as they all get developed in the summer as in any other sport except football. Bob does work hard w/the pitchers though and does coach alot of these kids in the summer. Bobby is an excellent coach and Bob will tell you that he is lucky to have the staff he has. Agree, agree, agree. There weren't many better than the '06 Tigers.:thumb: We will find out soon about the pitching rotation.

Myeroff is a genious this time of yr w/his pitching staff. Remember, he did this same thing w/the best pitcher in the 9th region two yrs ago. He saved Curly and threw him in the finals if I remember right. So, I trust Myeroff's judgement and confidence in his other pitchers and his team. I just don't think Cody will throw tomorrow unless they get down by 2/3 or he comes in to close. Just my opinion on how he has done things in the past.

Dixie/HHS match up w/Nichols and Towles should be the best game tomorrow. CCH wins no matter who St Henry throws. NCC wins by a couple runs and the night caper will be a dandy if Elliott does not throw but BHS will still find a way to win. So, CCH/Dixie and NCC/BHS in the semi's. CCH/BHS in the finals w/BHS winning because Elliott will throw in the final, a little bird told me so.

Two teams who have been near/on top for several yrs, NDA and NCC, I think will be down this coming yr. Although, they do have to of the top players in the region w/Casey Jackson and Courtney Sandfoss.

HHS is loaded w/talent and alot of experienc. Boone loses one player but that one is the 9th Reg Player of the Yr but everyone coming back knows what it takes to win. Conner has Long/Beasley and loses some great Sr leadership. NDA will have to rely on one player, Jackson. Ludlow has the size so they might make some REAL noise this coming yr. St Henry has some good young talent but w/a new coach, I feel they will be a yr/two away. Ryle is my sleeper. I think they lose one Sr guard w/everyone else back and a transfer guard coming in who I hear can flat out play.

And this would be who??? Is Coach Faust available to do both??:thumb:

I was told he doesn't play that much at Conner, is this true? I would think w/a kid this fast, I could find somewhere he could help my team.

Not knowing anything about baseball:rolleyes:, I will say CCH vs Dixie in the upper bracket and NCC vs Beechwood in the lower w/a rematch of CCH/BHS in the finals. My big prediction will be Elliott does not start against Boone. They have a pitcher w/alot of rest who I believe will start and if he gets in trouble, then maybe Smith, big trouble then Elliott. Boone is the hot hitting team right now but just in the last week. BHS will score and w/a little pitching(no walks) they will win.:thumb:

The way you have the teams listed, yes, CCH would have a cake walk. The info I have recieved looks like some real good games.

WOW, you two are very tough. Both fly's in question would have easily been scored a HIT in MLB. Being an ex-SS, I might have got to both but the LF obviously has the easier play coming in for the ball. For a SS to turn and go backwards, find the ball and make the play, not easy. BHS's book both were scored HITS. The 7th inning fly was not touched. DD-You make this play sound easy for the SS, what about a fly straight up around the catcher? They don't have to go more than 10 yds away usually. I guess all those are routine plays. More times than not in HS, they never catch the ball. How about this one for all you experts? I think BHS had runners on 1st/2nd on the first fly ball, if so, why wasn't an infield fly called? This is a judgement call but if CCH's SS never turned his back on the ball, an infield fly should have been called and same w/the second fly ball hit. I was involved w/this incident once in my career where I back pedaled 1/2 way into center field and the ump called "infield fly", this was a college game. The other teams coach got thrown out of this one, go figure he was mad.:fight:

TOG, are you saying you gave both balls that dropped in left field an error? How do you give anyone an error on either ball? Neither ball was touched let alone dropped so how are they errors?

Miller from BHS. There was someone from HC but don't remember who either, it couldn't have been anyone w/a bunch of hits!

We will agree to disagree but my seat was much better than yours. Your'e right, Maile did walk 4 times, 2 intentional but those were no brainer's as he came up twice in crucial times w/first base open. I didn't stay around for the all tourney team, after my two cents for the BHS gang I left. So who did make it from CCH? The #3 batter had a good day at the plate.

Umpire question in this game. Bases loaded, fly ball to center, who has the tag? I really thought the runner left way too soon. The plate umpire was off the map w/balls and strikes. His strike zone changed every inning. I felt sorry for the pitchers. BB killed BHS. 5 of the seven runs that scored walked to get on base w/one of those an intentional walk. Maile walked 3 times and scored all three times. Oh well, off to the region. At least the teams go opposite directions and I wouldn't be too surprised to see a rematch for the regional championship. The play at the plate, the runner was safe as Maile did bobble the ball and the runner was clearly on the plate. If Miller holds onto the ball, the CCH kid is out at the plate by 2 feet as he did not reach the plate.
