  1. If a team is 0-10 then that team should not be allowed to play in the playoffs. I will say this though, if a district does have an 0-10 its hard for me to think they deserved to get in. I know Simon Kenton was not 0-10, but they were a #4 seed and went to the State Finals in 6A so the four team factor works. It is such a tough call to make. There are several 0-10 teams that made, but the arguement I'll make for them is that those kids got another week of practice to if nothing else keep working fundamentals of football.
  2. Southern should cruise in this one. Model beat Southern last year, but Southern has a pretty good team this year...comments???
  3. Central's full court press will be to much for the Generals.
  4. Well I understnad your arguement but I think its pretty weak. What about Basketball players who have to start late for baseball season. Majority of the time anyway its not how you start, but how you finish.
  5. No offense Ram, but you haven't seen anything as physical as Bell Co. These guys play smash mouth from the word go. The only two teams in the state that can beat Bell, is Trinity and St. X. and they don't have to play those guys. BELL by a LARGE MARGIN
  6. I miss "The Barn" in Montgomery Co. that gym had character.
  7. Model, needs to get a grip. They are still Model. They are improved but they are at best the 4th team in the district. I think Berea is better than they are.
  8. Well look over the last 15 years, at one point Southern won 6 straight districts against Central I do believe. I also, played on 4 straight so I do believe I'm correct...Central has won the last two...Who was the coach of those teams at Southern you ask...Madison Central A.D. Gary Fritz.
  9. You know the thing that kills me the most about this score is that the players never BELIEVE they can win. Since 1988 Southern has never beaten Central in football, only once in basketball. Year in year out Southern's baseball team is usually better, but these kids are not at all inferior to Central. These coaches bust their butts to get the kids ready, but the kids do not believe or want it bad enough and I am tired of it.
  10. How many kids does Estill lose from this team?
  11. Rico Brown from Madison Southern has been getting looks from Louisville, Purdue, and Western. He had a good year considering Southern struggled. Rico runs a legit 4.5 and squats 400 pounds. He should have a good year next year, and many college coaches say he would be a fine DB. Also, this young man is an honors student and is very intellegent on the football field.
  12. Well I'll say this Central should win this game, but Southern is much improved, and I expect them to win close to 20 games this year. Central 65 Southern 56 UFdynasty I thought you were more worried about Golden Lions than the Indians.:ylsuper:
  13. I have seen both teams play, Bell Co. I feel thought Knox would be fairly easy, but Bell is to strong for Boyle. I hope Boyle wins but, Bell is to strong.
  14. MCHS has very good skill kids, but their line can not whip another team who has a strong line. The talent is also running thin in Richmond, and Central will be down the next several years.
  15. Estill has not played very good teams in the playoffs. They are a good team and have earned to be here, but Breathitt wins a tough game 28-16
