As much as I respect the Bobcats, I think Coach French and the Rebels win this game and ultimately Boyle County's 6th State Championship.

May your prognostications come true, oh wise one of the windy city. :thumb::D

I truly feel that in order to beat this Boyle County team you must do so with a passing attack. I don't think we will be beaten by a team that primarily runs the ball. If your passing game isn't the base of your offense you will not beat Boyle County. I think it will be a matter of time before Rees MacShara breaks loose and I think we will be able to mix it up offensively just enough to keep Bell County wondering what's next. I expect a Boyle County victory.

I'll say:

BCHS 14

;)

There's one in every crowd.:D

I voted for Bell but from what I was told they were lucky to pull out the W tonight. I was in another ville. I was impressed with Boyle's play. They played very hard every play and looked well coached. Not a bunch of great athlete's but a bunch of football players. Bell will have to play at the top of their game, like the 2nd half of Rock to pull out the W.

I still have the faith in the Bobcats but they will have to play at the top of their game, not perfect but very good.

Sounds as if Bell had a hard time stopping the run of KC tonight. If they did Boyle will move the ball on them.

Sounds like Bell will have their hands full this week if they had a hard time shutting down Knox Central they will have a hard time slowing down Boyle. Good luck Bobcats.

I was looking forward to this match up silently, but ever so anxious and now it seems as if the Bell County faithful are realizing what we have been waiting to say all year. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Rebels are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping for a week full of posts as to why Bell County will win now I feel like people are going to make us the favorites at Log Mountain. I don't know if we should be the favorites, but I definitely think it will be hard for any Bell County supporter to convince me that Bell County will win. Especially now. You guys sound worried and less confident now.

I think Boyle will take care of business Friday. They HAVE faced adversity a few times this year and came out better each and every game against some really good teams. Bell is a great team and will give Boyle a challenge, but the Rebels will prove to be too much for them in the end.

Defense-Tie

Offense-Boyle

Bell 14

I know of a lot of occasion where Bell County has thrown multiple 60+ td passes, their QB is very athletic and can get out of the box and throw it 60+ yards in the air to a wide open receiver who was left open after a lengthy scramble. Bell County isn't Texas Tech but they do throw the ball, just 2 seasons ago, they played a game where they attempted 54 passes and 6 rushes. They can mix it up when they want to.

No No Bell runs it every play and are very slow footed.

Boyle is the favorite though. They have played better as of late it seems. Bell has to get it going.

I have seen stats from Bell County games this season where they have attempted 5 passes or less in games. That is not going to cut it. Boyle's weakness on defense, if you can even call it a weakness is pass coverage, but even teams like LexCath and Danville who had at least 25 pass attempts per game couldn't effectively score on Boyle County so it will be hard for me to believe that a team that averages 5-6 pass attempts a game will be able to do anything that won't be caught on film this week by the coaches at BC and that we won't be able to handle. I will go so far as to say that for every 5 passes Bell County makes there will be 1 interception by Boyle. Making teams that run the ball try to throw is a specialty of our defense and one that we will exploit to our favor if Bell County has to throw. From what I have heard, Bell County has size and if Bell County can protect the ball and put together long drives to wear us down, who knows. I just have a hard time believing a running team will defeat us with the run, but you never know.
