You know the thing that kills me the most about this score is that the players never BELIEVE they can win. Since 1988 Southern has never beaten Central in football, only once in basketball. Year in year out Southern's baseball team is usually better, but these kids are not at all inferior to Central. These coaches bust their butts to get the kids ready, but the kids do not believe or want it bad enough and I am tired of it.

I think you are right Slap, when they get down they just cave it. I mean they didnt give up last night BUT you can see the deer in their eyes. If MS dont beat them next year they never will.

Maybe in 2006 but, thats the only time I can remember Southern having a better baseball team...but you do make a good point. They just don't believe they can play with Central.

Well look over the last 15 years, at one point Southern won 6 straight districts against Central I do believe. I also, played on 4 straight so I do believe I'm correct...Central has won the last two...Who was the coach of those teams at Southern you ask...Madison Central A.D. Gary Fritz.
