The thing will start with a heck of a matchup. Here ya go:

 

At Ryle

Monday

Quarterfinals

Highlands vs. Conner, 6 p.m.

Dixie Heights vs. Holy Cross, 7:45 p.m.

 

Tuesday

Quarterfinals

Boone County vs. Ludlow, 6 p.m.

Notre Dame vs. Dayton, 7:45 p.m.

 

Friday

Semifinals

Highlands/Conner winner vs. Dixie/Holy Cross winner, 5:30 p.m.

Boone/Ludlow winner vs. Notre Dame/Dayton winner, 8 p.m.

 

Saturday

Finals, 7 p.m.

I think Highlands has to like this draw. Yes the 1st game isn't a "cake"walk, but Boone and NDA in the lower bracket is sweet.

How was this all determined? They throw the district winners on a board and then draw out the district losers names randomly? I am confused.....

They draw to draw first. They then have the district winners draw and after setting the winners in the brackets they then draw the runner ups.

Still have my money on the girls from Conner, they wont lose to Highlands three times!

They take the two teams that either winning team could play, put the numbers 2 and 4 and the team that drew to draw first would draw either 2 or 4 and would go on that slot. The other team would get the other number. Same thing for bottom of bracket. Hope that makes sense.

You must understand that a district loser can't play it's district winner until the finals. So

 

HHS and Dayton have to be in opposite brackets

NDA and Holy Cross have to be in opposite brackets

Dixie and Ludlow have to be in opposite brackets

Boone and Conner have to be in opposite brackets

 

If you look at the brackets you will see that. So the winners get drawn out, and then the losers are put into upper or lower brackets based on where there District winner has been put. Then those two teams draw to see who they play. Really if you just understand that the district winner and it's district loser can't play each other until the finals, then it's really pretty easy to understand. Understand!

Just curious what your logic is on that one. Please don't say, "You can't beat a team three times." That's the oldest cliche in sports.

No.

Boone will be hard to beat in their bracket. Will be a good game between them and NDA to see who plays in the finals. Lets see if Conner can get over the hump with Highlands.
