Six points separated these two teams the first time, and although CAL is better coached now than they were the first time, DeSales is just too much for the Centurions. DeSales 35 CAL 14; just because Coach Sander is a class act.

I think that Gallatin is on a high right now; since they got their running backs again. However; now that the smoke has cleared in Warsaw, Trimble corrects the fluke that took place in Bedford, and wins in a close one.

Your comments are disappointing Super B!! If you paid attention to what is going on, Carroll is w/o 3 of their starting offensive linemen, they're starting 2 freshmen, 2 first year players, and has been w/o Daniel Rose since the 1st quarter of the season. Not making excuses but, IMO these are huge obstacles to overcome; especially at a small 2A school like Carroll. I commend these players who have stepped up and continue to give 110% every play, even when the cards are down. The quarterback is going to be just fine. That position is a growing process and he has a lot of bright spots.Very few people are born with the ability to play quarterback. After all the adversity Carroll has dealt with;things will start to turn up.

No doubt about it; Franklin County hired the right man for the job. Coach Ledford has been successful in every phase of his career. Look for this trend to continue. Congratulations Coach!!!!!!

Way to go Seth. I cannot think of a finer young man more deserving of a chance to play at the next level than Seth. He has all the skills necessary to excel at the next level. His work ethic not only reflects his success on the field, but in the classroom as well. Look forward to watching you play. Good Luck!!!!

Not Possible. I don't care who brought it up. All I know is that this is what somebody was crying about. It didn't happen. I know this to be true. This isn't "The Longest Yard". You act like you speak from experience.

A few comments in response: Nothing was ever said about not caring if Carroll students purposely hurt Frankfort students. If Carroll was guilty of intentionally injuring a player, then disapproval would be shown. It, however, seems that the idea that a student intentionally hurt someone with a thumb tack is unrealistic. Secondly, you commented on Carroll players behaving on and off the field; I am sure that you have no grounds to comment on CC teenage behavior when not on the football field, and within the last two games, only one personal foul was received. They had a difficult start, but to their credit, their behavior has been solid lately. When not at the game, I am not sure how you can comment on class.

I guess so; the grass if pretty rough, but you know, if the scabs of little skin imperfections come off, they can look like puncture holes too. Like I said earlier, instead of rehashing trivial juvenile instances, perhaps the Frankfort coaches need to focus on the Danville game.

Comments about players playing in a "dirty" manner can be heard by any person concerning any team. If one was sitting on the sidelines for the Carroll County Panthers, he would have heard the same sort of comments about the Frankfort team. The difference was that the Carroll County coaching staff did not interact with or harass the Frankfort player. Injuries, as terrible as they are, are part of football, and high school students are only teenagers with teenage mindsets. As you said, coaches and teachers are not bystanders, however, if someone is a teacher or a coach, he should know high school students overreact on a regular basis and that little trivial occurrences can grow into huge traumatic experiences because one student or player verbally shares information with someone else. Coaches should not overreact. In the school setting, that same coach should have the sense not to believe every little complaint that he hears. Being and adult and not one of the students, they should exhibit judgment and not join the over reactive bandwagon. The Carroll County - Frankfort game cannot be compared to someone getting beat up. It is football, not ballet. The Frankfort coaches should realize that despite the comment that one of the Carroll County players had a tack in his hand and stuck someone; the reality of that happening is minute. It is completely unrealistic that a player held onto a tack throughout the game without injuring himself. The game between Carroll County and Frankfort was as clean as a football game could be. Frankfort coaches showed very little class by complaining; they won the game, so they really should have little about which to complain. Instead of rehashing trivial juvenile instances, perhaps the Frankfort coaches need to focus on the Danville game. .
