Here we go! The game wouldn't have been any different. I would bet that if Colby Dawn and Otis Winter didn't get hurt the score would've been a lot worse. Nobody made excuses for Carroll County last year when Daniel Rose went down, or else Carroll would've routed them. Bottom line Carlton would not have been the difference in this ballgame. How many weeks of practice has he had? Anyways it's time for Carroll to focus on beating Ludlow. Best of luck to Gallatin!

Gallatin played as good as they could've. Carroll was and is the better team. Hands down!

Thought Trimble looked good tonight. Coach Poynter continues to do a great job playing to the strengths of his team. Blake Renfro also played well for the Raiders. Beat Henry! :ylsuper:

I have to agree with you Bengal 15. Although I will be pulling for Carroll, I think the addition of Coach U to an already solid coaching staff makes them even that much more dangerous. The reunion of Coach U with Coach Alnutt will ensure success as it has in the past. Gallatin wins by as many as they want.

Very large crowd indeed! But towering over them all was a kid from Sparta that went over 7'1" and 400 plus. He won the King of the Board Competition beating out a kid from Lafayette I believe. Very good technique as well as genetics. Great Camp by Coach Damron as well as the coaches from Morehead State & Georgetown College.

I happen to agree with Pigman! Why don't you leave the coaching up to Coach Poynter, and do whatever it is you do best!:thumb:

While it is true that without the talents of David Bird, Hawkes, & Peters the Raiders will have to look elsewhere for their scoring. Coach Poynter will have to adjust to the talents of his team. It sounds as if he is already doing so, implementing the spread offense. The bottom line is that Coach Poynter knows how to win and the Raiders will continue to do so as long as he is there.

The boys from "Sawville" better not overlook Carroll. I'm going with Lunatic 1 in this one Carroll by 3.
