This one is really too tough to call! Walton is on a roll but are they tough enough to keep up with Girdy, Osborne and the rest of the Panthers? Coach Mefford's defense will be a tough one to get out of. I think the Lady Bear Cats can pull this game off if they watch their passes, feed Hargett and Dixon, light up the basket with the 3's and take care of the ball. All of the fundamentals. They(WV) have the experience to go full speed ahead. Carroll County is not a tall team and WV can out rebound them but they are a quick team. Girdy=Speedy Gonzalas! A full court press will not stop them. They have good shooting guards but I think their defense(CC) will be a big factor and will have to be out smarted by WV. Good luck to both teams......GO WALTON VERONA!;) You can do it!!

Walton is playing well now and I don't see Carroll Co. beating them. If they control the tempo and the boards things should work out in their favor. I believe it will be a close game but Walton's experience and depth will be too much for Carroll Co. Walton by 9+.

A plus for WV because they will not be playing at Carroll Co gym. Walton seems to do well at Trimble's court. Heeger seems to know how to light up the 3's there. This will be a close game. Walton needs to have a guard in Girdy's hip pocket. This will be one of the most exciting games of the year!

As far as lighting it up we need something to lighten up that gym...just picking on TB&G :laugh:

This should be an interesting game. Girdy's speed along with Carroll's other guards, then you have the youngsters on WV paired with the senior talent of Hargett, Heeger, Krahl and Sargent. Carroll beat WV early on before WV brought up the youngsters. WV should have fresh legs all night, can Carroll keep up? I will take WV by 5.:D
