Here's my take on this whole ordeal - Coaches will do a good job, players will do a great job if they listen to their coaches and parents need to take a sedative before every game and let the coach, coach and the players play!......just saying.

I agree he played well and am sure it was a difficult decision. McNeil had 21 in the game against Grant co. and played well again tonight. This was definitely a team effort but the real MVP is Coach Trame!

I heard recently he was not playing. Spent the whole year rehabing and has decided it would not be worth risking injury again.

Maybe someone should check out what is involved in winning this award. Maybe all the coach has to do is submit the information. My next question is why would a coach not put in for this award. Seems to upset quite a few folks out there...so they need to do their homework. As for the complex being built by Boone County Parks...That I know for a fact is wrong. WV had to build the complex. The land in the back of the complex I believe is owned by the County. This leads me to believe that the land was purchased by both of them. In my opinion WV has a nice complex, definitely not the best field in the area. As to the fact that time needs to be spent developing players...well what is there to say....last decent team was the 2005 team and they only had 3 or 4 good players then. :eek:

Walton in the game all the way. Defense kept them there. Offense had their chances just could not get it done down the stretch. Very good effort though. They seem to have played better than they did against Owen. Just fell short. Conner scraped out a win.
