Congrats to the Bearcats. Very nice win. Kudos to McNeil on the MVP. Good luck in the Regional Tournament.

SK pretty much led the entire game but the momentum started to sway towards the Bearcats halfway through the 4th. McNeil had a nice game but Hargett was the MVP of the game, his play in the 2nd half was spectacular.

Huge win for the Bearcats! Simon doesn't win the district, but Pioneer fans still think they dominate the 8th!

Value City back in business? Trying out for a Bruce Pearl contest? Kidding aside, his energy was inspiring tonight. Hargett took over the last two minutes. Good luck to both teams at the Roy.

Hargett turned it on the last 4 minutes of the game and SK had no answer. I believe he ended up with 21 points and played with alot of heart. Walton fought back the entire game and never gave up. Congrats to the Bearcats on a District Championship and good luck to both teams in the Regional.

Takes the attenton off his players and then lets them play. Great job by Coach Trame.

I agree he played well and am sure it was a difficult decision. McNeil had 21 in the game against Grant co. and played well again tonight. This was definitely a team effort but the real MVP is Coach Trame!

Agreed! This season has been the definition of a team overcoming adversity! This team has kept fighting. Great job to the coaching staff and players!:dancingpa

That is outstanding! Well done, DTrame.

It was a huge win for the Bearcats but it's not like WV was a huge underdog. The last three games have been decided by a total of nine points. I wish the best for WV, coach Trame has always been a favorite of mine, wish we would have had him at the helm of our bench in '91.

Looking into the future WV and Simon will battle for the next 3 to 4 years. Who ever can finish down the stretch will win. During the season WV had the lead in both games and Simon finished down the stretch. In the District Championship Simon leads and WV finishes down the stretch.

I can still picture a very young Blair Trame pulling signs out of his dad's briefcase on the bench to show the players what set or D Dan was calling. Blair is now about 23.

I look forward to the renewed rivalry, both teams have some very talented young players. Chambers, Sampson, Ayers, McNeil, Hargett, Moeves just to name a few of the talented players returning.
