Boy was I wrong in my prediction! I should have known better than to choose against the Panthers at thier home field. Great job Panthers and Coach Weedman/staff! A well deserved win. You guys fought hard tonight. I have never been so proud to be a Carroll County football fan! Best of luck on the rest of the season! :thumb:

Gallatin played bad! I guess you can't beat them every year.

Carroll really looked good, they made some big plays to win. With the delay of the game both teams were tired at the end but CC held on to the victory.

 

Carroll had 1 injury and I am not sure about Gallatin Co.

 

Does anyone have an update on this?

Wow!! I'm shocked. I was beginning to think you could beat someone every year, and Carroll couldn't have had anything to do with Gallitin's bad play last night. Carroll has some nerve claiming this win. Next thing you know they'll think they could actually beat them in basketball. Ooops. I let that slip, didn'y I.:ylsuper:

I couldn't agree with you more. I hope Gallatin has a great season, but in my heart, wished the Panthers could pull out this rivalry game.

Great win for the Panther, I am sure they all played with Heavy Hearts, hats off to the staff for keeping those boys together to get the first win.

As a GC dad, congrats to Carroll! Gallatin did not play as well as I expected and Carroll played much better...I will give the kids from Carroll credit...I wish Gallatin's student enrollment had their commitment...42 players on the field is quite the accomplishment...

 

Nonetheless, Gallatin should hold thier heads high, if we can get the turnovers and penalties under control...we have a bright future!

 

As for the question about Carlton playing or not...Bryce Carlton did play and had a great game, Jared is not on the team...that is of now...I am not sure if he will rejoin the team in the future...

 

Once again, congrats to Carroll...GC...Focus on OWEN!!...Carroll is history, nothing you can do to change that...
