  1. Henry dropped Carroll...Used to play North Oldham...They dropped us also..So who else should we play? Danville,Frankfort, been there done that...Besides if I'm not mistaken Carroll is 1A in all other sports....Carroll scrimmages Grant and plays them in 7on7 all summer...Carrolls j.v. just soundly beat Pendleton Countys j.v. this past Saturday...Scrimmaged Bellevue.Carrolls volleyball team just won the: ALL A TOURNEY. So what does Carroll do ,go schedule Atherton like everyone else around here?:thumb:
  2. Thats just it ...there was no adjustments....Thats why they call it the spread offense...Missed tackles yes ...both sides...Carroll missed 6 pats.
  3. Carroll did a good job spreading Ludlow out and playing 6 on 6.Ludlow had no answer to the spread formations Carroll was lining up in.
  4. That is correct.....Carroll is 2-0 with W's over Bracken and Gallatin Counties.
  5. Carroll had about 55 kids at the last scrimmage........:thumb:
  6. I disagree,Carrolls senior and junior class has had much success against the A schools in this area through the years.:thumb:
  7. Im not surprised by the outcome of this one.Carrolls seniors and juniors both captured N.C.K.C. championships as 8th graders in hard fought contests with the Wildcats.I see no reason for that trend not to continue. Its always fun to watch both clubs get after each other.Good job Panthers.:thumb:
  8. Congrats Andy on a job well done.....Also to Coach Weedman ,nobody works harder.Go Panthers!!!!:thumb:
  9. Best wishes to the old left hander Scotty Ross, from a ole ball coach here in Carroll Co.
  10. Been there, done that!No problem.... All I can say is to ask Carrolls kids if their sucking air,my guess is that their in as good if not better shape than the kids that didnt play.
  11. I tip my ole ball cap to all the senior Panthers.Thank you for your hard work, your leadership and your loyalty.Theres not a finer bunch on the planet.Im going to miss your throwback approach to the game.Take what you learned from this greatest of games and apply it to life.:thumb:
  12. Having saw both schools play this year I would have to give Desales a slight edge in the ground game. They are very deep ...They have 3to5 kids that carry the ball and put you to sleep 4 yards at a time behind a huge offensive line.....then a fade here and there....they are well coached and dont get rattled... as crazy as it sounds I think whoever defends the pass the best wins this one...Good luck to both schools :thumb:
  13. Carrolls football kids will be just fine,by playing football they will just become mentally and phyically tougher. It wont take long for that group to get their legs under them. Its not that big of a deal going from one sport to another. The Panthers will be fine and their football kids WILL be better cagers because of football!Good luck Panthers
  14. Carrolls 13 seniors are a hardworking scrappy bunch ,that have breathed new life into a program that had been struggling as of late.Congrats seniors on a hard fought win.Even though Fridays win wasnt a thing of beauty you found a way to succeed.Another of lifes lessons learned. :thumb:
  15. Desales plays home games at Manual stadium in Louisville.
  16. Desales is a very good football team ,a class act through and through...they are well coached and come right at you....I saw them against Carroll County.they are huge up front and have a very good running game.Carroll did have some success throwing it.They dont beat themselves.Good luck to whoever plays them.they are a fun team to watch.A very classy bunch!:thumb:
  17. I agree Super B ,If HC keeps throwing the rock they would have been in trouble.HC is solid up front, its beyond me why they sling it around the yard so much especially against a undersized foe.Good luck to both schools down the stretch.:thumb:
  18. J.V. football also allows young new coaches to get better .....calling a game on offense and defense isnt as easy as joe public makes it out to be.:thumb:
  19. 179 yards on 16 carries........Wise had 100 + also........3tds
  20. Great job Y-Town!!!!! Nothing like Northeast Ohio football, just ask a guy named Tressel. He had a few good years at Y-Town State recruiting kids from this area.:thumb:
  21. The only motivational tool that Carrolls kids needed in this border rivarly is the thought of that yellow bus from Warsaw coming down the road to their house ....Likewise for the Wildcats.....Carroll vs Gallatin.....Enough said.
