In OT. Great game. Yager hit a three at the end of regulation to send it into OT. Carroll led probably 90% of the game, 31-18 at the half. Gallatin kept chipping away and finally took the lead with less than 3 minutes to go before Carroll battled back and held on in OT. Coldiron, who is regularly called the best official in the 8th region, IMHO has lost it. He was terrible, as were his partners, tonight. He seems to be in Jon Jones back pocket.

Exciting game to watch to say the least. Sweet Prediciton Super B, by the way I need the powerball numbers for tomorrow.

Seriously it was good to see CC not only compete with Gallatin again, but pull out a big time win. GC is a very respected team wherever you go, and when you beat a team like Gallatin you start to believe in yourself. I can guarantee Yager preaches to these boys that they belong at the top, now I hope the boys take that into every game with them.

This district as well as the ALL A is going to be a battle all year long.

The best thing about a rivalry game like this is it was a very physical ,hard fought game in which the players truly showed great sportmanship as did the coaches and fans.

Most people in the 8th I know thought Owen County was the team to beat for the 8th All-A, with Gallatin a close second.

Gallatin was never a shoo-in. Lots of new faces this year.

I said the district and the region are going to be more competitive. Trimble beating Oldham County tonight too and Henry beating Owen this week. It's going to be an interesting year. Looks like the 31st is up for grabs................still!!!!

Coach Jones remarked during the Owen-Carroll game last week that on any given night in the NCKC anyone can win. That is holding true to form so far.

It just didn't seem any worse than any other game I have ever seen...

Seems to me that Carroll Co. is the team to beat in the District. Not Gallatin or Owen.

Congrats to Carroll County! It was a great game to watch.!

 

CC will just improve as the year goes on and they look great!

 

GC has some really nice players coming up and are a very good team.
