Cardinal Mooney has appreoximatly 320 boys, CovCath has approximatly 500. Coach Brossart needs to give his kids a serious talk about pride. Nothing will be handed to the just because of where they are from. Looks like they need to go back to the fundamentals offensivly and deffensivly.

Just another example of how much better Ohio football is. This may be the worst CCH beating of all time.

Cardinal Mooney is a division 4 team (out of 6 divisions), but they are a powerhouse team. So by enrollment they would probably be 2-3 A in Kentucky. Pretty amazing the depth over there. I don't think anyone other than Trinity, St X, Male could even play with them... maybe Highlands if they improve over the season and get Conner back.

This may be. However, I remember Newport Public flogging Cov Cath around 50-0 around 1976 or 1977. Does anybody remember this?

These kinds of losses humble you but also motivate you.

Sometimes. And sometimes they demoralize you and make you question your abilities. This is the time when a coach really earns his job, as he has to do exactly what you suggested - use this as motivation and somehow transform this into a positive.
