Trimble defense looked good. Also QB Larry Sullivan looked good in the A-11.

Congratulations to the Raiders and Coach Poynter. Their offensive plan seemed pretty good...but I have seen them practice much stronger. They will need that strength next week back at Wildcat Field against Henry Co.

Trimble County plays very hard.

I was impressed by the effort the Raiders gave all night. #22 is also a player. Size is a problem for Trimble, but heart is not.

Thought Trimble looked good tonight. Coach Poynter continues to do a great job playing to the strengths of his team. Blake Renfro also played well for the Raiders. Beat Henry! :ylsuper:

From what I seen wasn't much to the new offense. Looks like a lot of illegal receivers down field.

It's not the A-11 offense. The whole point to the A-11 is the fact that they use the free kick rule to put 11 eligible numbers on the feild. This creates confussion for a defense as to who is eligible by number AND alignment. IF TC doesn't have 11 eligible numbers then it's just spread. Ex. If number 68 is flanker, he cannot release down feild no matter his alignment (unless the ball is thrown behind the line) due to an inelligible number. The A-11 does not have that issue to contend with.

The offense is different, and it fits Trimble perfect.

Trimble does not have the O-line it takes to blow people off the ball.

Sullivan is the man, but #1 has the great hands, and the way the offense operates can be confusing for any D.

I didnt say anything was wrong with t. I was just saying it will give officials and other teams fits to figure out who is legal down field and who isn't. Looking at there alignment some last night They got away with guys down field couple of times. Glad it works for them.

In all honesty, Casey Co. was a very young team. 27 freshmen, 7 upper classmen from the team last year. Trimble did what they should have done. Larry Sullivan is their guy. He runs, passes, kicks and I think I saw him selling popcorn at half. He will have his hands full next Friday night with the Henry County pressure defense. Erick Butler will be 100% and hungry after sitting out the first game.
