Coach Ledford has been the defensive co. at FCHS for 5 seasons as well as the OL/DL coach. He also coached at Rowan Co & Lawrence Co. He played college ball at Morehead. Good luck to coach Ledford and the Flyers.

Coach Ledford was not DC for 5 years, only 4 the first year there he only coached the lineman. He helped for a short time at Rowan and Lawrence before getting a teaching job at FC.

Absolutely the best thing that could happen for the kids!He is close enough to already know all the kids and they have the utmost respect for him.He has been the kind of coach the kids need from day one because you always know where you stand with him.He will coach ball and make boys men!:ylsuper:

The administration made a great decision to hire Ledford as the head coach. He is passionate about what he does and provides continuity for the program.

 

The Principal at FC understands that Football and Basketball bring in 75 to 80 percent of the gate revenues. Being consistently competetive in these two sports is critical to all athletic programs at FC.

 

IMO Ledford's leadership and enthusiasm will allow this to happen.
