I looked for them to run the stack-I, I saw them do it on some film earlier in the year. I am sure they were more prepared for this game than any other, Russell just has a lot of talent and power. I'll be rooting for you guys in the playoffs.
:thumb: I agree. I was refereeing a third and fourth grade game last week and a kid ran an interception back on a two point conversion. We gave him the two points just for effort.
We got to Erlanger and played Lloyd Memorial in the post season, and they just played a defensive scheme against us that we had never seen. We were fairly new to the offense at the time. I would say that if we had more experience in the double wing we probably would have seen each other again.
From what I have seen of Fleming's stack-I they keep their line toe to toe. This is alot like what we used against Russell when we beat them in 2003. If Russell comes out and plays flat like they did against us this year it could get scary for them. Fleming has bigger, stronger and faster kids than we do.
Andar Niece of Estill was the hardest hitter I ever knew of. Graduated in 95 or 96. Had 26 tackles in one game and put several kids out of the game with injuries. He went on and played at Union college. Strongest guy I know to this day.
