What is everyones thoughts about the outcome of this game?

I dont really know their names but I heard number 2 and 11 for powell county got hurt last week. Does anyone know if they will be able to play in the game this week?

I look for Morgan County to win

Wouldnt this be Morgan County's first win this year if they win?

Morgan has been drilled with some bad luck this season. Calcluate losing 9 starters on both sides of the ball from last year + injuries to all skilled position players this year (season ending injury to Derrick Young) and rash of in game injuries and also turning the football over has cost the Cougars.

 

I have RARELY predicted outcomes, but I think Morgan wins this football game or at least still is the better team.

 

In two losses (Rowan and West Carter by 6 points a piece) the Cougars turned it over a combined 13 times in those two games:creepy:

 

Despite the many trials and tribulations of tough luck this season, I believe the Cougars may have enough in the tank to beat their next three opponents. I really think the 4th playoff slot from this district will come down to the last game of the season between East Carter and Morgan County....A lot of IF"S....but on a paper the best 4 teams are Russell, Fleming, West Carter, and Morgan/East and then LEWIS/ESTILL/POWELL.

 

But with turnovers as mentioned before, the whole who is better on paper scenario can mean very little. Have to prove it on the field, take care of the football and score more points than the other team to win. It's pretty simple!

Its unfortunate for the Cougars to be going through all of the injuries, but this it will make them a stronger team in the long run. I have heard they have some young talent coming up in West Liberty, is this so?

 

Woods has established his name as a man to turn a program around so I see him being the man to help guide the Cougars back on track for next season.

Powell isnt doing that well this season,but at times they can make plays i will take powell in a close one
