  1. Sorry for that last post folks. Accident
  2. Technically Rob Reynolds is "Little Zeke"
  3. Technically, he is "LIttle Zeke"
  4. Now there is some confidence in ones team right there! Geez!, talk about some locker room bulletin board fodder....
  5. Nothing like griping over a 40 year old tradition. Why don't you call Tennessee and ask them to stop playing Rocky Top at Neyland stadium. I find that really annoying and classless also!:
  6. That about sums up the futility of my beloved Wildcats on the gridiron.
  7. Those late 70"s Bellevue were so much fun to watch as a kid. I just talked to one of the Sutkamps about those Richmond Madison games as recently as last week, as they are very close family friends of mine. Now some of those names from those years have kids that play HS football. I know a couple play at Highlands.
  8. so original that the team that owns it also owns 16 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS and counting!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Awful big talk. Hope they can walk the walk! I hate to quote cliches, but sometimes they are appropriate. To be the man, you have to beat the man!!!:fight:
  10. PLAY TO WIN:fire:
  11. They had it as 49-0 just a minute ago. About choked on my chicken wing.
  12. Were did Riegler play his high school ball? And to answer an earlier question, Last time I saw him, which was earlier this summer, he was working in his family business, not in coaching.
  13. Way to many weapons for the Greendevils to handle. I would love to see Dayton make a good game of it, because I think Lickert and company have things headed in the right direction down there on the river.......but I don't think they will be able to hang around more than a quarter. Beechies by as much as they want.
  14. Who does the play calling for the Wildcat offense?
  15. I understand now what you mean. I don't know that teachers have a whole lot to do with it, but parents and coaches definitely need to get the point across that you join team sports programs to benefit the team. Three days ago I was talking to a guy who played BB at scott in the mid 90's (he was very good BTW and earned a scholarship) and he said that during games the other guys on his team would always talk about how many points they had in the middle of a game and would try to outscore one another at the cost of a team effort. He said he couldn't stand that and wished he had gone somewhere else. It sounds like some things never change, at least maybe not in Taylor Mill.....
  16. Not sure what your mean by "arrogance". Is it arrogance or disdain for authority or something else? IMO, the only way to turn things around is from the inside out. They would have to establish some sort of football boosters club that would probably have to start with some concerned football parents, and I don't know if they have that kind of support in Taylor Mill right now.
  17. No disrespect intended Rebel, just stating that a nice victory can help to start healing some wounds that have recently come to light in Title Town. BTW- FT. Thomas will always be Title Town to me.......But thats for another thread:thumb:
  18. What did the Birds Faithful think about the performance of the Conner kid tonight.. I thought he looked similar to one Justin Frisk at this same point in his high school career. If he turns out to be only half as good as him, he will be one heck of a ballplayer. Lookout the next few years, because this kid is the real deal in my opinion. He looks like the best true RB we have had in a while. By this I simply mean he looks to be a little larger and stronger than some of the backs we have had in recent years.
  19. Yeah Birdsfan, Your probably right, parking is not the breeze it once was at the old Birdome....You actually had to walk a little shorter than usual tonight though.......
  20. I guess that there are not too many problems a nice little 57 point victory can't cure, huh Rebel fans?
  21. I went to the game and thought the Birds played pretty well overall. Kramer played like the stud he is and the game was never in doubt for more than about 30 seconds into it. Sometimes you just have to take your "sloppy" 46 point win and be happy. Its sometimes not that easy to get ready for an opponent that your supposed to beat badly. I also thought that Madison Central fans traveled well. It seems as thought they got caught up in that traffic jam on 275 on the way in.
  22. I guess all is well in Title Town tonight!.........At least for now.
  23. Did they have a running clock at any time in this one?......
  24. Newport by 17. I'll say 27-10 Wildcats.
