The Ads were out of town for a sure win, so I decided to check out the Rebels tonight. I thought they looked very solid. The defense did a great job tackling.

That must have been one heckuva meeting.

Good Job Rebels. No fumbles!!!!!!:banana: I thought Josh Miller had a great game. The defense did an excellent job, and a very solid game by Bryce Perry at quarterback. Just an overall good win. "A much needed win".

 

Maybe this will be just what the Dr. ordered.

Looks like the coaching staff knew best all along, and whatever it was, something delivered the wake up call the Rebels were needing.

I don't know about that; but I'm glad they got another one in the win column.

Well Pulaski County is just 1-6, I think the Rebels still have some higher expectations than this.

Well it did help that they were playing the defenseless Maroons. Seriously though I hope Boyle gets everything worked out, they've built up too much to have internal problems torpedo a great program.

I know that the vicotries have been few and far between for the Rebels this year but why why why why why do you go for a fake punt when you're up 36-0 in the second quarter?

 

Now before anyone fires back at me, I've not said anything about running the score up. I just think it's weird to have a designed fake punt when you're up on a team by that score....the worst part of it was that Boyle County scored on the play as well.

I don't have a dog in this fight but sometimes fake punts are automatic calls according to how the defense lines up. If not that then maybe they were trying to get a running clock in the 2nd half in order to just let the JVs play. A few weeks back Somerset couldn't quite get ahead by the required score and ended up having to take a knee on an extra-point in order to keep their score under 70 against Cumberland. That running clock in the 2nd half makes things a lot easier as far as subs and stuff go.
