#5 Covington Holy Cross (6-1), Loss to 4A Simon Kenton

#9 Harlan (5-1), Loss to #5 2A Breathitt County

#10 Bethlehem (6-0)

I would have to sell on Holy Cross, I just dont see them getting pass the second round. I know they beat NCC, but I dont think they would beat them in the playoffs or Beechwood...

I'm selling the Indians, odds say the won't make the 2nd round if they face NCC again.

Covington Holy Cross - Buy. With a road win over NCC, HC would have to be an ever so slight favorite to win a rematch. Beechwood is the favorite, but HC is definitely a contender for the title.

 

Harlan - Sell. Harlan is the third best team in its region, but I don't like its chances of beating both Somerset and Pikeville.

 

Bethlehem - Sell. Bethlehem is a solid 1A team, but it is the third or fourth best team in the toughest 1A region in the state.

Cov Holy Cross - buy - NKY 1a is a little down this year and they've already beaten NCC, so, you know they're just as capable of beating Beechwood...

 

Harlan - Buy. Played Breathitt tough,who's every bit as good, if not better than Pikeville and Somerset. an upset to either would not be that surprising...

 

Bethlehem - Sell. If they're fortunate enough to upset Holy Cross again, they'll still have a Bardstown and/or Danville in there sights. Not to mention Frankfort, Campbellsville, Green Co, who could beat them on any given night..

Frankfort, I'll grant you. Campbellsville and Green County would be huge upsets.

Yeah, Campbellsville's a stretch..Green Co's a decent team though and could pull an upset...How about Trimble Co then. They have a decent record. The point was, they're in a very tough region and there are too many good teams to expect more than maybe 1 upset, much less 2 or 3 to make it to the final 4...

It would be surprising if they beat Pikeville. Pikeville beat Harlan in the playoffs last year 29-0 and is a much better team this year.

#5 Holy Cross would be a Buy if you feel thay can beat Beechwood at Beechwood in the last regular season game because then they would get a #4 team and then the winner of Beechwood/NewCath (most likely) all at home.

 

#5 Holy Cross would be a Sell if you feel Beechwood will beat them in the final week because then Holy Cross would have to rebound and beat NewCath again the next week and then somehow beat Becchwood at Beechwood the following week.

#10 Bethlehem I would Sell because of the chances of getting out of the Region are not good.

I'd say it's a stretch to call Green County "decent" ... in any case, they won't beat Bethlehem. Trimble County has played one of the state' softest schedules.
