  1. Calloway stops the Tigers a yard short on a 4th and 4 at the Calloway 24 yd line, but, Murray ate quite a bit of the 3rd qtr clock just the same...
  2. Murrays picked up 3 big 1st downs and have the ball in Calloway territory, inside the 35
  3. Murray forces a 3 and out and punt by Calloway and takes over at there own 24 yd line...
  4. Murray leading 17-14 early in 3rd qtr...Calloway Cos QB Brockman is playing...He was 12 of 19 in the 1st half...Calloway had 209 yds in the 1st half, Murray had 152...Calloway is doing well through the air and Murray is doing well on the ground but has mixed in the pass nicely...Still a long ways to go in this one...
  5. Go Hendo!!! I don't know what North has this year, but, they've been very strong the past few years, or at least a few years back they were...
  6. I picked Green Co mainly because they dress and play alot of kids and depth usually means something early in the year when it's still hot and humid. If this game were later in the year, it would be a tossup and who knows, it may be anyways...
  7. I don't disagree with any of the picks, but, I think Reitz wins big vs Owensboro, more along the lines of 35-7...
  8. WEast-Ft Campbell Hoptown-Marshall Co Madisonville-Hopk Central Owensboro-Owens Catholic Calloway Co-Trigg Co
  9. I think the score will be closer than most think....Highlands 33 Ryle 24
  10. Personally, I think Campbellsville has a real good chance here...They'll be one 1a team that has the athletes to compete with LCA...The only difference is they don't have the depth, but, if it's a cool night, that may not be much of a factor.. If the game were at Campbellsville, I'd take them in an upset, but, it's not, so, I'll say it'll be in the range of LCA 34 C'Ville 22...
  11. I like Christian Co in this one, but, it'll be close, just like last years game...Both teams have quite a bit returning, but, I believe CCs depth will be a little better and I think it'll take PTs players a few games to learn there new coaches system...If this was a week 6 game, I may have picked Tilghman...
  12. 7 - Belfry 5 - St X 3 - Fern Creek 2 - John Hardin 1 - Manual Belfry
  13. 7 - Calloway Co 5 - Hopkinsville 3 - Muhlenburg South 2 - Christian Co 1 - Mayfield Calloway Co
  14. 5) Christian Co 3) Boyle Co 3) B.Green 1) Mayfield 1) Johnson Central 1) Pulaski Co 1) Green Co 1) Manual 1) Campbell Co 1) Ashland Tiebreaker - 35
  15. Gm1 - Green Co Gm2 - Mayfield Gm3 - Bishop Chatard, In. Gm4 - Manual Gm5 - Johnson Central
  16. 1a - Bellevue 2a - Danville 3a - Mason Co 4a - Hopkins Central 5a - Lincoln Co 6a - Marshall Co
  17. I like Mayfields chances in this one...I think this years Ft Campbell team could be one of there best by years end, but, the Cardinals always seem to play better against better competition and I'm sure they know how good Ft Campbell will be...I think the team speed that FtC usually has will be somewhat neutrelized by the Cards, but, if Mfd is to win, they'll have to limit mistakes and the big play capability of the Falcons and wrap up on there tackling...If not, it could be a long night...Either way, I do think games like these help both teams in the longrun...
  18. Ouch!!! X and T should be a dandy...These 2 are clearly the cream of the crop this year, regardless of class...
  19. Ouch!!! Sounds like T and X are once again, light years ahead of the rest of the state...
  20. I need some confirmation, anyone? At least theres 2 counts showing the score 4-2 or 28-14, whichever way you want to count it, but, which team was 2 and which was 4? Not that it matters, but, I'd still like to hear from someone that was there and get a little recap....
  21. Murray could be a sleeper this year and knock off Trigg and Caldwell in 2a d1, but will have a hard time advancing very far in the playoffs with Ft Campbell and/or OB Catholic a likely opponent in an early round of the playoffs.. Lone Oak will compete well with Calloway and Hopk Central in 4a d1, but, they'll have to shore up the defense to advance very far, but, by seasons end, could go relatively far.. Hopkinsville is improved, but, with Christian and Owensboro in the same district, could finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd. All 3 are pretty equal imo...
  22. Clarksville is supposed to be pretty solid...They're expected to contend for Rgn 6, 4a this year...Most people feel they'll finish 2nd behind Beech..It's an 8 team region.. Kenwood is in the same region and expected to finish somewhere in the middle of the pack, 4th or 5th...
  23. I agree...Theres no way...Highlands has a great tradition and program but 8 out of 10 yrs, X or T either would be to deep and talented and both likely deserve to be ranked higher this year, but, I doubt any of the 3 actually deserve a Top 25 ranking. Theres probably 25 teams in Cal, Fl & Tx alone better than any team Ky has to offer, not to mention Ga, Oh and several other states with alot of strong teams.
