Roughneck40

They have been rebuilding for 8 years now, must be a huge project.

Name one quality team tha Knott has beat?

10 plus, are you kidding?

Best Coach, don't know about staff though?

Below average? They have some tremendous players on their team. His style of play is keeping the Dores from winning! There is no way you can actually say Cordia has more talent than Perry! No way!

Its not like the TOs were against the second team, Letcher Forced both turnovers. Couldent capitalize of course, but the fact that they forced an offence of this calibur to make mistakes like that is saying something about them isnt it? If you want to think about it like that then it would have only been 21-28 at the end of the first if Letcher could have capitalized on the HHS TOs

Highlands D is on a level of its own this year. They will control the ballgame from start to finish. 35-0 Birds

The Cougars made Highlands step up after the 1st quarter. After that Highlands controlled all aspects of the game. But during that first quarter Letcher was right there playing with them. Highlands just had LCC overmatched. I daresay when these two meet again on down the road (and they will many times) Letcher will be up to the task. As for Highlands this year though, The playing environment there is second to none. Same as the football team. These players, coaches, and fans are a class act and deserve everything they get this year. I will be pulling for them on that cold day at the Pizza Box

This has been changed, no bonfire, they're going to try to get people to show up on Friday morning at 10 or 10:15 to give the Cougars a big send off.

The Cougars like to spread the field and are in the shotgun 90 percent of the time, but they still run the ball a lot more than they pass it.

The only thing that telling the Johnson County residents who has brought these matters to light would do is cause hostility, possibly even endanger someones well being. Who accuses isnt here nor there, its the fact of did Johnson Central try to slip one over on the KHSAA or not. bottem line

Final from Ermine, Cougars were up 49-0 at the half. LCC is now 7-1 on the season.

yeah

I dont know about 33 carrying WC but Banks does not carry LCC, Letcher Carries themselves. during the first half the rest of the team was flat, therefor banks had a bad half, but when Letcher banded together and put plays together, anyone who touched the ball had big plays or big blocks. this versitility is what gives Letcher their edge over Teams like Whitley and Clay Charlie Banks is an amazing athlete and a crucial part to the cougars offensive scheme but he by no means carries this team

That makes more sense anyway..... as we all know anything can happen on any given Friday. For the best 2 teams to have to play twice is just the only logical thing thanks for clearing that up

This may be a dumb question but I have been curious, Iv herd many different answers. Will someone please enlighten me

Who wins and why?...

Yeha it definently was humiliating For Clay they picked Letcher for their homecoming and everything......good to see that it worked out for em' lol

So crowning them is premature but saying that they won't get the district title is not?

Letcher High School was beaten 97-0 by Pendleton County in their only year of existence in 2004. This was the year before consolidation in Letcher County.

Letcher has to many weapons on O..... unless something goes critically wrong... Letcher by a couple

Well Said, IMO there wasent a better place to be last night. Cougars Showed what they were made of second half and looks like if they can keep it up a district title might be in order... :ylsuper: WAY TO GO BLUE....KEEP IT UP

Can LCC handle Lewis .. thats what its coming down to in my opinion. Clay county doesent have much of a ground attack do you think that will have any effect on the outcome of the contest? thoughts please

Ouch!

When did they put that hole in the roof?
