I think that SC has improved drastically since their only loss to Highlands. I'm picking SC in a last second nail-biting win. 22-21 in favor of the traditionally good basketball school.

Lots of biased toward CCH in the newspapers. Always has been. We just have to get used to it. There are no bird fans at the Enquirer. No big deal. Anyone with any common sense and an ounce of restraint will chalk this post up to exactly what it was meant to be, provocation. Cov Cath is good, not to be overlooked. I just hope our Birds can keep focused and hang tough.

Could be over rated. I thought playing NCC was more of a rivalry growing up because we know these guys. Lots of HHS and NCC players know each other from day one. In my opinion, rivalry would range across all sports and be something felt from a very young age. Since we don't play NCC anymore (in football) then it appears that Cov Cath has supplanted them as our rival. Campbell county used to also be quite a rivalry back in the day. Once Cov Cath moves up to 5A, the rivalry will die with it.

I'm sure someone's talked about it. But if you were a school, would you allow video? There goes your weekly gate. I am sure that is a huge factor in why no weekly video.

Because they both already have Internet broadcasts every week.

They do have a Hardee's down there with the best mushroom n Swiss burger I've ever had. If their (JC) coach says they are better this year than last, I'm very nervous. But all I can say to that is, I the Cov Cath is better too. For some reason they always know when to start rising up just in time for playoffs and become the team of their best potential. I just think that better or not, JC will need to be its best tonight! Colonels will win but not by much. 28-24.

It sounds to me like JC has all the momentum. I will be interested to see who hangs for 4 quarters. Based on my knowledge of CC and only seeing JC twice, Cov Cath is just too much this year for a one dimensional team like JC.

Rumor is that HC has a fundraiser that night. Would love it if they made it Saturday. There may be some extra spectators from Fort Thomas.

I remember when we played Ashland. They are tough. Yes, it was 20 years ago but I am not going to predict a huge blowout. I say it'll be closer than everyone thinks. Too much respect for that program to think they'll lay down.
