I know for sure that the sprinklers were NOT turned on. There maybe be some problems with the sprinkler system underground. No one knows for sure until after the season, when the system is examined.

East's field is not draining. They played a freshman last night, and even with the weather being good for the last few days it was still a sloppy. I can imagine it will be even worse tonight.

Flu problems?

MC is young and small. I think only having 8 games hurt them as well. They were playing good competition each week.

During a half time of the East Jessamine vs. West Jessamine game, West didn't come out until the end of the 2nd three minutes that are given to team to warm up. Which means that they weren't on the field until after all the halftime was complete. Earlier in the season I saw a team being penalized because they didn't make out for the 3 minute extra warm up period, but made it before all the time had expired. They were assessed a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct. In this case the refs decided not to proceed with a penalty. I was under the impression that refs have a rule book and can read. 1. First, is there a rule about when should you come out? 2. Can refs ignore any rules they don't want to enforce? 3. Should this violation be reported? :confused:

Sound like it's the punting teams ball. If it hits a lineman not in the neutral zone.

I know nothing about this game. But I bet he was mad because the refs never called a block in the back on jet sweep. That's just a guess.

West had under 100 yards of offense. They scored on a kick off return and a 25 yard run. They made 1 extra point. East outgained them but missed on both after touchdown opportunities. One was a kick and one was a run.

Thought Bourbon would win this one by a lot. Turnovers and penalties are killers.

Henry by a TD. Should be a very close game.

Spencer has two kids that can fly. The QB and RB. Western Hills is a little stronger. I'll take Western Hills by 2 TD's but Spencer winning would not be a huge upset.

Probably not for another year. Then maybe, all the 2 year contracts are signed beginning with this year.
