Because it was the only one they could find that would play week 0. I wish it was easy to schedule as some of you people think but it is really tough to fill out a schedule for big schools. You have seen SK, Conner, Boone, Ryle, have all had to take what they can get some weeks. They tried to work it out with Highlands for week 0 but it didn't work. Newport was the only other option.

I agree, it's up to Lee. He is a solid football guy. Maybe he did some things that he was suppose to do on that staff. Maybe he was suppose to be the "bad cop" or butt kicker. He does know football, and they are good people, players and parents, at Brossart to work with. I think he will do a very good job there. But as you said its up to him.

He is now. Jarrod Evans no longer goes to Campbell County. Moved to North Carolina I think. Matt Wilson is probably taller than 6'5 now as well.

Logan Schneider OL from Campbell will be one of the top OL in NKY this year.

Agree, top five would be tough but depth overall...

1. Top to bottom no one can touch NKY. Even 6A which is much maligned is as solid as anywhere else in the state outside of X and Trinity. Every school in 1A has won at least one state title. And then you have the great football played in 2A, 4A, and 5A. 2. Louisville 3. Western 4. Central with Lexington thrown in 6. EKY Tell me...If you take all the NKY schools and play them against a Louisville opponent who wins the most games? Interesting concept. Somebody match them up.

Lee will do a good job at BBHS. Solid coach and good people to work with. When the KHSAA re-districts, and if they move back to "A" they will be very competitive.

From the look of the YouTube video there was nothing wrong with that dunk. They were still playing defense, he just made a nice move.

There were issues with the Bell signal everywhere from CCMS south. They had work crews right outside CCMS while the game was going on.

Still doesn't keep people from applying. "Look at me. I'm a great coach. You will surely have to hire me as a teacher." It was good of Brossart to be up front about it and say there is no teacher job. Districts have there hands tied like never before when it comes to hiring.

Go to a D1 practice. Walk on the field and stand next to the players while they do drills and practice. Then you will understand. Great football, great coaches, and great football players in NKY. D1 talent? not much.

An unfortunate factor in this decision will have to be job availability. Even big schools like Boone have a hard time finding teaching positions. It not like in the past where a school or superintendent can just create positions for coaches. I have heard they are actually cutting a teacher in each department next year. Makes it hard to bring in a coach from outside. You can hire a para-professional but most head coaches would prefer to be in the building as most administrators would prefer them in the building(see Ryle). To be honest a lot of interest like in the Brossart job is becasue the people want/need a teaching position. You can weed a lot of them out very quickly. I think Kyle N. will have a leg up since he is in the building already and has always done a great job for them. I agree with the Guru they could be scary good if someone adds the other type of offense to their arsenal. Lots of good, young, athletic talent in the pipeline.

Six divisions is probably too many but Highlands and Trinity have not won 22 titles each in the last 6 years. The gap existed long before the 6 class division.

Under center if your going to run QB sneak. Any thing other than that it doesn't matter. In fact it is probably quicker because you are directly snapping it to the tailback (QB) without having to hand it off. If you are a gun team and go under center they will know sneak is coming 99% of the time.

Not really. Say the same thing about whoever is playing Trinity and they probably still loose. Doesn't always apply but if a team is better and does those things it works. Camels= better than SK thus it works.

Your right. You win. It will be an honor and a pleasure just to host the Pioneers on their march to "DESTINY". Tyler and the boys will sit around at reunions one day and talk about their opportunity they once had to play one of the great teams of all time (sorry Highlands and Trinity fans). :lol:
