Simon Kenton vs. Campbell County Predictions

Really? Guess the Camels were just darn lucky to even be in the game. -

Coach Lickert did a great job of spreading the wealth for the Camels. Tyler Durham could have had 500 yards rushing but it wasn't needed so he spread it around. He got several Camels in the end zone to cap off their careers. Great job coach. Play 4 qtrs. and the next one won't be close either. -

To much Tyler to few new trails for the pioneers to explore. Stop the pass and name the score. -

You can say it was a bad night for 6A but I thought Campbell County represented themselves well at Ballard. Ballard is #8 in 6A per BGP and Campbell had them beat if not for a bad night with the kicking game. After Trinity, X, and Scott County it appears no one is unbeatable in 6A. Outside of those 3, I like Campbell's chances against anyone in 6A. Unfortunately all 3 of those are on Campbells side of the bracket. Would have been a good year to tank the regular season to get on the other side of the bracket. Maybe the quality of football is down in NKY but I don't see it great anywhere else either. Beechwood will still make a strong push in A, I still NCC has a great chan ce to win 2A, Highlands is a lock for 4A, Conner and Cooper can make a serious push in 5A, and Campbell can go as far as a match up with one of the big 3. Not bad for a "Down Year." I still think top to bottom the best football undoubtly is played in NKY.

Way to go Coach Brown and the Wildcats. -
Awful quite from the neer fans? (one in particular)

It was actually 3 missed FGs. Missed a desperation one last play of the half from 50 yds. Great kicker that had a bad night. He had 4 touchbacks on KO's. He and the camels will be fine in the playoffs. One game at a time! :thumb:

Man you really are clueless.

Take compliments that Tyler gets as compliments to the team. He will be the first to admit he doesn't do it alone. The Media, the fans, the message boards talk. The TEAM has accomplished great things with more to come. So enjoy any and all praise. Don't feel slighted. The team loves and supports each other. Fans need to do the same.

Only the end zones

Camels too much for Boone this year. If the passing game continues to develop, like it did against Ryle, look for a nice playoff run by the Camels.
-
Years you are opposite from Trinity and St. X in the bracket anyone can make the finals. The playing field levels quite quickly after those two. After the KHSAA decide to rotate the districts in the playoffs, Ryle went to the finals and SK went to the finals. I am not sure of this year's bracket but after Trinity, St. X, and maybe Scott County no one is very scary. And the Scott County / Campbell County match is one I'd love to see. Great game by the Camels.

all of this is assuming Trinity wins their district...
-
At Campbell. Camels win, hopefully in not so dramatic fashion.

Instead of being selfish, you should probably be grateful and try to make it as attractive as possible for the kids to stay at Brossart. Next week Campbell County Schools will be holding their Bishop Brossart, NCC enrollment night. Be sure to check your local media outlets for more details.

No arguement there. They struggled a bunch.

too bad it wasn't interference.

He grew up in Bellevue but moved out in the county his 7th grade year. While living in Alexandria he finished playing for Bellevue in the NKYFL. They did not repeat did not move for football reasons. -

You have no clue. Cooper's enrollment is currently less than 100 students less than Campbell. Ask yourself this. Put Durham on those NCC teams. Do they win the State championship? Maybe it does have a little bit more to do with the competition than you would like to admit. -

So Campbell will be justified then and not criticized next year if they drop NCC. You said yourself they are suppose to beat them anyway so they get no credit for doing so. So NCC can go ahead and schedule others on their run to their next "State Championship" since that all that's seems to matter to you. Also, they will play Highlands next year but I don't believe it will be the opener. -
Could someone change my vote for me. Hit Cooper by accident.

And NCC people are not complaining or whinning. This gets them ready to compete for the playoffs and they know it. -

You don't see it in Ohio becasue they don't have to. So many schools playing at each level. In Kentucky if SK needs a game who can they schedule? They already play the big schools so its play a very good smaller program or travel all over the state (Danville, Pulaski, etc) which you see them having to do. If you are Beechwood most of the average smaller teams don't want to play you if they don't have to so they have to play selected bigger school. Look at NCC schedule, year in and year out they have several big schools (Dixie, Ryle, Campbell, etc.) on their schedule. I think in Kentucky your sometmes forced into playing up or down. In Ohio you don't have to.
