Where are all the BGP posters that said Lone Oak wouldn't go deep into the playoffs ? Their soft regular season schedule would hurt them ? They don't know what it takes to win a playoff game ? Just wondering what you think now about Lone Oak ?

As long as the ball is dry, a wet surface would help Lone Oak. It would hinder the defensive unit. Lone Oak played well on a wet (natural) field against Fulton City this year.

There's still more room on the Lone Oak bandwagon. Critics has doubted Lone Oak all year long & the team has simply played their hearts out each & every game. I like the chemistry of this Lone Oak team. Lone Oak will definetly be an underdog in this game but I think they are a live dog. It will take a stong effort from the defense & the special teams for Lone Oak to pull this one out. I feel Lone Oak's offense will put up its fair share of points. Corey is surrounded by a wealth of talent. He would be the 1st person to admit it.

Lone Oak starts 6 players both ways: #1 Corey Hobbs Rb & Olb #2 Daniel Edwards Wr & S #5 Corey Robinson Qb & Cb #8 Jamarielle Brown Wr & Cb #24 Travis Hickman Wr & S #71 Drey Duncan C & Ng Lone Oak is also a very deep team & rotates alot of guys in & out.

I will be at Flash Field aka "The Graveyard" rooting for the Lone Oak Purple Flash, as they are hosting Warren East. It should be a jam-packed housewith plenty of fireworks.

I am an obvious Lone Oak fan and also agree if Corey leads Lone Oak to a perfect 15-0 season then beyond a shadow of a doubt he should be the winner of Kentucky Mr. Football.

Cissell is an outstanding running back probably the best back the Lone Oak faced this year. I wonder why No Bullitt did not run the ball when they took over at midfield instead of throwing the pass that was picked off ? I would have tried to run the ball downfield & if I had scored to make it 40 to 39 then I would have went for the 2pt conversion for the win.

It should be a fun interesting game at the Graveyard this coming Friday night. I expect a high scoring affair. I don't know alot about East but It will take a good effort from them to win at Flash Field. Lone Oak must defend the pass better next week. I like Lone Oak's chances to advance, as they seem to be a team of destiny. Lone Oak has so many weapons on offense to choose from including Brown, Edwards, Hickman, Hobbs, Francis, Etc. Robinson does a good job utilizing his receivers. The line must give him adequate time, as it has done so far this season. If that happens, I'll say Lone Oak wins 48 to 41.

Great comeback win for the purple flash after falling behind 19-0 in the 1st half. J Brown got the flash going with a big KO return for td to make it 19-7. The offense was held in check the 1st quarter & got going in the 2nd quarter to close the gap to 27-21. Lone Oak tied the score at 27 apiece on the 1st possesion of the 2nd half then took a 34 to 27 lead. No Bullitt convert a big 3rd & 18 & score later but missed the extrapoint. Lone oak's Travis Hickman returned an int for td to make it 40-33 then Lone Oak scored twice in the 4th quarter to seal the game which was much closer than the final score. No Bullitt is by far the best team Lone Oak has faced thus far. Great effort by both teams.

Be careful Eagles or you might get torched & I'm not talking about Lone Oak's welding team either. If D Cissell runs all over us then he'll be the 1st back to do so & I'll be the 1st to congratulate him.

The Graveyard at Flash Field should be packed with a sea of purple, hopefully the Eagles will bring a large crowd as well.

Forgive me for failing to mention D Williams (Fulton City), he is also a quality rb. We were able to shut him down, I'm sure the wet field slow him down considerably & he didn't rack up many yards against us. Wright has rushed for over 500 yards the past two years against us but our rushing defense has vastly improve this year. Most people don't know about Lone Oak stingy defense.

Chad Wright (Heath) isn't exactly chopped liver, as he has amassed over 5,000 career yards & has always put up big numbers against Lone Oak. I'll say Lone Oak will put up at least 40 or more pts on offense. Lone Oak 47 to No Bullitt 21

North Bullitt had better be able to defend the pass or they will be in for a long nite at the graveyard. Flash Field was rockin last Friday nite & hopefully No Bullit will bring a lot of fans with them. It should be a good test for the undefeated Purple Flash.

It looks like Coach Newton has had a good team over the past 3 seasons (23-11). I hear North Bullitt has a dynamic duo of Cissell & Reynolds and has an experienced defense. I anticipate a huge contingent of Lone Oak Fans this Friday night. Lone Oak has been starving for a good football program for years & thanks to Coach Jack Haskins they are starting to build one.
