Robinson, Lone Oak quarterback

33-for-47

347 yards

5 touchdowns

I think North Bullitt threw picks on 3 late possessions, 2 returned for TD's is that correct? The one down 7 with 3:50 left was real bad they had plenty of time to march without going for the long ball.

Great adjustments made on both sides of the ball. Defense gave up only 6 second half points and finally wore those big boys down from North Bullitt. I can't believe Lone Oak is in the final 4!

Quite a job by the Flash tonight against an outstanding North Bullitt squad. Corey Robinson, Jamarielle Brown & Co. showed once again that they are the real deal. Once Robinson got in synch after the 1st quarter, you could feel that they would persevere and come out on top. Robinson deserves a great deal of support for Mr Football. Brown, Drey Duncan and others should get looks for All-State honors. The works not done. It gets even tougher against Warren East next week.

I must say I was amazed by the North Bullitt Eagles. Cissell and Reynolds make an outstanding tandem. I was impressed by the ability of Heath's Chad Wright a few weeks back. Cissell is even better and I hope he has success in college.

Great comeback win for the purple flash after falling behind 19-0 in the 1st half. J Brown got the flash going with a big KO return for td to make it 19-7.

The offense was held in check the 1st quarter & got going in the 2nd quarter to close the gap to 27-21. Lone Oak tied the score at 27 apiece on the 1st possesion of the 2nd half then took a 34 to 27 lead. No Bullitt convert a big 3rd & 18 & score later but missed the extrapoint. Lone oak's Travis Hickman returned an int for td to make it 40-33 then Lone Oak scored twice in the 4th quarter to seal the game which was much closer than the final score. No Bullitt is by far the best team Lone Oak has faced thus far. Great effort by both teams.

I made a comment about Robinson in the first quarter that he hadn't impressed me, but boy from then on. WOW! The kid seems to be the real thing..... Congrats to Lone Oak, and thanks to whomever pays for the web cast, they did a great job.

Congrats to Lone Oak on the win, slow night for them as Robinson ONLY threw 5 TD's. He said in the Paducah Sun this morning North Bullitt was able to get pressure on him while also covering well and said they had a nice gameplan. Thanks to WPSD-TV for coming up with the idea of a Webcast...hopefully other stations will follow around KY! Also for the comment on the webcast sponsors, I will pass on to my wife who is in charge of marketing for one of the sponsors...Hopefully there will be another webcast next week!

Most exciting game in the state last night. NB builds a 19-0 lead in first half with a brusing run game then LO runs kickoff back to get it to 19-7. LO made a huge comeback and great adjustments to take control. At the half NB had outgained LO by a huge margin.

I can say enough about being down by such a margin against a quality opponet deep into the playoffs with a team that has no playoff or winning experience and not hitting the panic button and folding. LO is a amazing story this year

I'm telling you guys, Lone Oaks offense is a juggernaut. They spread you out and just pick you apart. They play pretty good run defense but will have to do a better job against the pass to continue advancing. W.East will be a big challenge for the Purple Flash this week, but, I think they can win this game in a shootout fashion...

Some more thoughts on this game. After getting up 19-0 North Bullitt seemed to get cocky and over-confident in my opinion. Their fans, who were about as country as it gets, were chirping and the players were taunting, especially #2. After the groggy start, the Purple Flash outscored them 55-14!

I found it ironic that Lone Oak's first 1st down of the game came in the second quarter on a running play by Matt Starks. He later had a knee to knee collision and hopefully he'll be back in action next week against Warren East.

A huge play in the first half came when Travis Hickman dropped a wide open pass yet North Bullitt's Travis Ridley committed a late hit and kept the drive alive.

In the second half, Travis Hickman took a vicious hit yet somehow managed to stay on his feet, not be denied, and scooted into the endzone. That and his interception return were absolutely huge in Lone Oak's first ever regional championship!

Then North Bullitt turned into a complete meltdown mode and showed little class. Numerous unsportsman like flags and personal fouls at the end of the game turned a good game a little sour. Having said that, I think Cissell was the real deal and North Bullitt had an excellent game plan going into this tilt.

What a great crowd! Should be even bigger next weekend. Good luck Oakers...I want to watch you in Louisville, not on an internet feed!

Great game! Congrats to Lone Oak. They showed poise and did a nice job making adjustments. In the end, they got the job done and moved on. Robinson never quit. The flash stuck to their game plan and kept the faith. They will be a tough out for anyone left in 4A. With that said, the head official should not be doing games of this magnitude, he was an embarassment.

Yes that "sandlot do over call" has to be one of the worst I have seen in all my years of watching football.

That was pretty bad! I just think it was a natural reaction to catch the ball but a referee should know better. The phantom pass interference against Robinson was worse though in my opinion.
