The elite will always be found regardless of their participation in these cattle calls is my opinion.

Slightly off topic but a great read. Witnessed this in Cooperstown a few years ago. Amazing how often this happens at such a young age. Great read. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/fl-moneyball-jr-20130317,0,1010510,full.story

UK showing interest in James Bolden

That's laughable to many kids these days. EVERY recruit that Cal has had has been drafted into the NBA. Ask them what matters most. -
Why did Cincy X and Cincy Elder drop Trinity?
wildcat14 replied to theguru's topic in KY Football (High School)
I heard directly from Coach Specht's mouth last night that the decision to not schedule Trinity was his decision as he makes final decisions on the schedule. He said it had nothing to do with being scared or intimidated by anyone and if anything, he laughed at the notion. It was purely due to the Harbin system and the fact that Trinity and St. Edwards share too many common opponents with X and it makes the tier two Harbin points problematic. By scheduling other teams with more variety in their schedule it makes obtaining those points easier. -
Which hill? I heard Park Hills...

which 8th graders made a roster?

Camels have only made it to the region 4 times in the last 10 years.

Sorry I meant before this year. Your use of the word "consistently" implies that it's a regular occurence.

BB, Scott, and CCHS consistently at the top??? not sure i agree with that. they have had some decent teams over the years and brossart consistently overachieves based of their size, but when was the last time any of these teams have been in a regional final? even pc has won the region and been to a second final in the past 10 years. they have a much better case than the other three schools.

Why did Cincy X and Cincy Elder drop Trinity?

Maybe in order to get a guaranteed win they should have scheduled Boone. -
If you choose to look at this as a state championship then you maybe you should decline to participate in the 9th region tournament and compete for the opportunity to go to Rupp where the REAL state championship is played and recognized. Why should NC get to double dip? Can Trinity play football in the AA division? In the end, it's a great accomplishment but I don't think you will find many on here or anywhere else that will consider the All A a true state championship for basketball.

If Boyd is ever killed then I will never watch another show. He is amazingly entertaining.

Why did Cincy X and Cincy Elder drop Trinity?

The real irony is this thread started out as a discussion about X and Trinity and was quickly taken over by the birds like so many other threads. The funny thing is the birds won't man up and play either X or Trinity, yet openly discuss in other threads their desire for national prominence. -

Simple answer, send them to Brossart because they will get a better education. -

I don't see Dale calling to try to get a regular season game on the schedule with Trinity. -
New football stadium at Campbell County?
wildcat14 replied to 2 Humped Camel's topic in KY Football (High School)
Looks awesome. On a slightly related note, how will the team be? Who will take over the reins now that Durham is graduating? -
I have no idea on the whole consolidation rumor, however I was told by a senior administrator several years ago before the economy slowed that Campbell County would most definitely be opening a new high school in the northern part of the county in the near future. While the economy is still very poor, the new Arcadia subdivision in Alexandria appears to be underway. This will bring another 1500 or so homes to the area and will require the school board to make some decisions in the next few years.
