  1. Coach Fraley, is a tru high school bball legend, from his early days in Powell co, to thru his glory days with Reggie Hanson at Pulaski, i actually saw coach fraley help out a friend of his in eastern ky in the late nineties and his mind for the game was awesome, he is a true legend
  2. Walker, Mayo, and Ellis are in the top 50 of the 2007 class, i don't care who you to on lose by 8 is an accomplishment in itself, it would be great foe Mayo to stay at least two years in college but thats alittle ahead of myself Great job SL
  3. According to the KY Post Top 10, which does not consider PC - They list Holmes, BB, Dixie, and Newport in the top ten. The Wildcats beat these teams by a combined total of 74 points, and if you throw in Campbell and New Cath it jumps to 98 total points. Whether they are included in the NKY poll are not they are by far dominating those schools, the polls may not show it but the scores say it!
  4. I find it pretty accurate, after all this is the 2006 season, all the past regional banners won't win one game this year.
  5. I used to watch TJ Turner and Mark Mains( Tyler's dad) play together many years after they were out of school on a community goal in Peach Grove, Tyler was always with him, i have always known Tyler would be something special and when it came down to it he lit it up tonight, i feel he played really unselfish ball last year during their run to Rupp and a few more games like this with the weapons they have and they will definetly go back-- great game Tyler Mains way to go Cats
  6. tyler mains is money lets go cats
  7. sounds like this one might go to the wire.
  8. We can't blame the Enquirer for 3 or 4 coaches putting PC on their ballot, Holmes and BB have already felt the wrath of the #6 cats, ask them if they feel differently, also had they not made it state last year and in position to repeat this year it would not be an issue, everybody loves a winner, but 9th region runs so deep in the nky poll it is hard to be the new kid on the block
  9. Being a graduate of PC (during the down years) I always felt that we were floating like an island,to far south to be considered northern ky and to far north for central ky, we are somewhere stuck in the middle, we are also a county with one high school unlike campbell, kenton, and boone which is a whole other bag of worms, our rivals was always bracken which also has no affliation with nky, so in the short no i don't consider us a northern ky team---but to exclude BB and Scott is a stretch
  10. I am a big cat fan, but totally understand that this is a true home court advantage and a needed home game for BB, if the cats want to repeat as region champs this will be a great opprotunity to shine in a hostile enviroment. Hopefully we'll be able to get in tomorrow and GO CATS
  11. Seeding is something that occurs at every level, why not amke it a part of every district. It is definetly an advantage to top seeded teams, but on any given night in ky basketball a team can get knocked off, if its meant to be the best team will advance and represent their region
  12. so its not at TMC and we have to buy tickets during the day tomorrow
  13. Wow that district may be a little overwhelming the first couple years
  14. Thanks for the info, I wouldve been mad had i showed up at BB and no one else was there
  15. Was last year their first winning season and where will they be district wise?
  16. The W is important but you can guarantee Coach Biggs, will make a learning lesson out of it GO CATS
  17. North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia......hey is there a spot for that Apollo coach there also
  18. Three quick points_ 1) Vories was pretty quiet the first half and the birds played great team ball, Eaton did alot of things that won't show up in the books, on the floor scraping for loose balls battling the boards and palying good D, Hudy and Smith came in for some good quality minutes and gave the starters some good breathers. 2) It was good to see Tanner play with some fire tonight, he was really battling and calling for it inside, Nic Simpson scored when it was needed and played great, i really was impressed that the boys made those extra passes on the fast breaks they finished a lot of good runs tonight 3) Was #25 for Ryle in the coaches doghouse tonight, it seemed that when he was in he gave our defense a little trouble and thier offense ran better, he like simpson could split the lane and score when needed. He also got them out on alot of fast breaks, why didn't he play more and am i the only one who saw this? Just one fans view from the stands
  19. Cats are palying the jv boys in the fourth - cats win by 25 at home
  20. Chris harrison always had the green light, he would cross mid court dribble three steps forward and shoot the rock, before seeing the outcome he would start back peddlind as if he knew the outcome he was confident and never got down on himself for a off night. I'll never forget watching him climb the rim at Mason Feldhaus when he led Tolesboro to thier regional title
  21. with cch at holmes on 1/25 and holmes visiting highlands on 2/7 that should clear up alot of 1,2,3 that will be a true test to holmes playing tose two teams that close together. Coach Willie is also pushing his boys for the tourney with a game against Pendleton on 2/18, however holmes has already played the schedule of a warrior time will tell and i can't to see the big outcome
  22. what about Paintsville - john pelphry, jr vanhoose, todd tackett whats the consensus
  23. The Creech's always have their boys ready to play come tourney time. Also with the addition of a couple good players, i wouldn't count them out as district champs yet. Go wolves good luck R. S. Creech
  24. I find it hard to say they are dominators without consecutive regional titles or back to back trips to Rupp, they have dominated season regional play and their district, but to say they are dominating the region is a little heavy. They do have a great team this year and with Tierney getting back on track this may be their year to cap a great run from the past few years
