shootdathree Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 PC coming off a win over Campbell, and NCC the 17th. with Brossart on the 19th. at Brossart, possible PC may look past ncc to the brossart game? Your thoughts.
OverTheBackOne1 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 PC should in this one. They win by 17.
NHS BIG DADDY Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 PC will be able to score but NCC wont be able to stay with them. I look for around a 65-45 win.
BGGreen Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Would appear the matchups very much favor Pendleton. Defensively, the 'Cats are quick enough to challenge the 'Breds perimeter shooters, and Elliott can certainly handle Kiernan inside. Offensively, NCC wouldn't appear to have an answer for both Elliott and Belcher inside, and I'm not sure they play good enough perimeter defense to stop them there either. If the 'Cats can stay focused, which they normally are at home; they win this one easily by 15-20+. Doubt they'll be looking ahead to Brossart, as they've already beaten them easily. Next real challenge for them would appear to be GRC on the 31st at Clark!!
oldcat94 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Cats are palying the jv boys in the fourth - cats win by 25 at home
cch5432 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Does PC have one of the most difficult schedules in the state? It seems like every week they are playing (and destroying) an upper echelon 9th region or 10th region team and also teams such as Scott Co. and the team from STL.

Coach Biggs always tries to play against the best competition to prepare his team for the postseason. Since he's been at PC, the Wildcats have played two nationally ranked teams(#1 Oak Hill Academy Dec. 2004 and # 16 St. Louis Vashon Dec.2005). Yes, Pendleton County's schedule is difficult year in and year out.
PC Blaze Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 PC by 20+ at the WOODshed tommorow night. I think that the whole team will have double digit scoring. GO CATS!!!
Sharp Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Doubt they'll be looking ahead to Brossart, as they've already beaten them easily. Next real challenge for them would appear to be GRC on the 31st at Clark!! I don't think Bigg's and the PC's players will be looking ahead or past Brossart Thursday night. A game on BB's floor will not be a push over for any team. Biggs will take every game one at a time, and will have his players focused you can bet on that.
Z5 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Sharp you are right on the money. NCC may be struggling right now, but they have only had their kids for a month or so due to football. They will be a factor at some point in the 9th region. As for the Brossart game no one has won there since Dec. of 2002. Why does everyone think this will be a walk in the park for PC? Any team in the state would have a hard time winning there. Biggs does not overlook anybody period.
