Boone got knocked out of the playoffs last year by Campbell, never saw a team outside of Northern Kentucky. Ryle went to the State Final. So much for playoff experience.

Raiders by 10. Farris was not a factor in the last game other then the one long run. The Raiders completely shut down the passing game and two missed calls determined the outcome of the last game.

I think the undefeated team stays undefeated.

Actually, they are calculated by progress. 15 at bats mid April, 30 at bats end of April, 45 at bats mid May, 60 at bats end of May, ect.

That's the key right there. Good solid competitive baseball around the freshmen level, fifty or so summer games and good coaching of baseball fundamentals.

He threw pretty hard last year, control was his issue.

That will be their challange. Last year they pitched Towles, Allen and Rawlings most of the time and only Towles remains. Got a big stick in Muench however.

I like their coach, talked to him a few times and he feels he can generate some interest in the baseball program. The year he had last year will certainly help.

I know Ryle didn't pitch around anyone until the playoffs. As I recall the last game of the season, Ryle played CovCath at Ryle and beat them 7-0. Maile went 1 for 4 I believe. Don't think they ever gave Farris an intentional walk in the regular season or district game. On second thought they may have his second at bat. Coaching does change in the playoffs. As you recall, Cov Cath gave Murray a free pass with Wags and Sheehe on base.

Some of us might be overlooking Highlands and as I recall, they return quite a few players. 1-Ryle 2-Beechwood 3-Cov Cath 4-Highlands All of these teams should have a good shot this year.

I don't think anyone is trying to tarnish Boone's win because it was a great game. I think folks are trying to point out that blunders are more apparent in close games.
