NKY 6A Playoff Seeds Now Set

Featured Replies

Based on the results of the games completed so far tonight, this is the final (unofficial) seeding for the 6A district in NKY:

1. Boone Co.

2. Ryle with 21-22 points.

3. Simon Kenton with 19 points.

4. Campbell Co. with 17-18 points.

Campbell Co. will travel to Boone Co.

Ryle will host Simon Kenton

I feel like Dan Rather on election night. ;)

Campbell beat SK during the year but that does not matter in this tiebreaker. The scoreboard shows that Tates Creek lost to Bell Co, that means Camels can only get 18 points max and SK has 19. So, your seeds are correct but method of getting there is not correct.

Cool beans....I think the SK and the Boone games are the 2 that the Raiders would like to get back this year and now they have a shot.

No, actually it isn't incorrect because there can be no tie between Campbell and SK.

Your initial post prior to editing indicated that Campbell had lost to SK. I responded prior to your editing job. ;)

Good point, DD. The night worked out well for the Raiders. I think you will see them get back to playing very good football again after a bad second half performance vs. Dixie.

I think S.K. more. After the game when coach Warner was talking on the field with the Rlye players. As the S.K. players were leaving te field they were talking a lot of trash. And the next morning after the J.V. game that S.K. also won they were doing a lot of talking and chanting at Ryle. And to top it off when i was at the S.K. freshmen game this past Thru. a lot of the S.K. fan were hoping they would get to play Ryle in the first round Becouse they were saying "WE KNOW WE CAN BEAT RYLE" See ya Fri. in Union!!!

:laugh: Apparently you didn't hear the Ryle players throughout the Varsity game, heck there was even a Ryle player trying to talk trash to an SK coach. I believe there was also a few penalties for unsportsmanlike behavior called on Ryle. Then after the game the Ryle fans and players weren't exactly prime examples of good sportsmanship (not going to elaborate based on rules of the site, but if I recall correctly there was even an incident that required some intervention by an outsider). I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't understand how you could possibly get on here and call out SK for trash talking with some of the actions that took place in and after that game.

As for the comment on wanting to play Ryle rather than Boone, why not? SK beat Ryle in the regular season and got pounded by Boone, so why would they want to play Boone?

See ya on the field!!!! No need to talk about it now.

I agree there is no need to talk about it, just didn't really understand why that comment was made by him.

As for the game, I wouldn't be surprised to see a different outcome this time around. The Pioneers, although coming off 2 wins, aren't playing real good football.
