Looking for a league for a team with college players over the age of nineteen to play in and schedule some games during the week and play in tournaments on the weekends.

St. Catharine College is also gettin a good player by the name of Ryan Mangione who played for Tates Creek High School. He is one of the 20 players that has committed to play for them. He also played on the Morse Mustangs summer team this year. Glad he will be joining a good group of returning and incoming players.

Danville would probably been without Witten and Cooper as pitchers. Their coach talked to all the players right after the game Sunday with Paducah and he knew that the majority of the team would not be able to play. So why would anyone go into a tournament of this caliber with all of his players. They had a great season and I think the players would have loved to palyed this week, but not having the best team to put on the field would have been nonsense. When you start the season out with 1 win and 6 losses and end the year with 41 wins and 13 losses, you would want to put the best team on the field that you have.

What is the complete schedule for the state tournament this week in Ashland? I know Danville plays Shelbyville on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. I guess a winner plays a runner-up from the other districts format.

Danville defeats Campbellsville by a score of 12 to nothing. They are still trying to decide what other team goes out of this region. Campbellville's has filed a protest against Somerset for not having a 12 man roster and the coaches not being in proper uniform. The deceision is in the state directors hands. Tune if tomorrow for the results.
