With the regionals starting this week. What teams might be the favorites to make it to the state tournament in Ashland, and some of the top players on these teams?

My eight picks would be Paducah, Mayfield, Owensboro, Bowling Green, Shelbyville, Ashland, Danville, and Campbellsville. All good teams.

Bowling Green and Owensboro are now in. They had their state regional this past weekend. they defeated Madisonville and Lyon Co.

Campbellsville is a team made up of mostly Campbellsville college and St. Catharine college players. They are very strong and the defending state champs. Danville is a big powerful team. Paducah is notoriously strong and Shelbyville should be the front runner to come out of region 3 with post 76. Oldham county is very good but after 2 pitchers...........very suspect.

Is Standford and Danville the same team, or does Danville a team of their own?

Paducah should win their district. The other rep should be either Ken-Tenn (based in Fulton) or Tri-County (based in Calvert City). Ken-Tenn has two Kentucky players on the team, with the rest coming from northwest Tennessee.

The Danvillle team was under the Stanford post for the last 4 yrs and now are under the Danville Post.

Does Somerset still have a legion team?

I believe the tournament begins on Wed. Does anyone know if correct and what times, games will be played, once all the teams advance.

Ashland vs. Oldham Wednesday at 5, and Shelbyville vs. Carrol at 8. All the games are being played at Shelbyville.

Yeah your right, I was talking about districts. But Ashland is hosting the state tournament...I'm not sure about any times on that though
