It was a tough draw for the 8th this year but Oldham had a great season and just making it to rupp is huge.

Good for Zwick I heard he played really well down there.

From what I hear alot of players from last year are not coming back this year. But they do have a good pitcher in Hopperton.

Owen County half the homerun fence was there and half was not and there was a gaint pole in left feild.

Oldham is not impressive but they just seem to keep finding ways to win. They had a three point win against Walton, then a one point win against Anderson and when people did not think they had a real chance against Simon Kenton they win in OT. I am starting to become a beliver of coach Gary Forrest.

Good win for Oldham they just got the job done in every game in the tournment. I really did not see this coming, so hopefully they can suprise me and everbody else with atleast one more win.

This one will be a blow out SK just has to much talent for Oldham to match. SK by 18.

I was afraid this game would go this way I new that SK would be to big inside but I thought maybe Gallatin would be able to force some turnovers and push the tempo. I do think SK is the best team in the 8th this year and hopfully they get the chance to represent us in Rupp.

I believe Frank is going to try and make the road trip monday to watch the games in Henry, hopefully he feels up to it.

What about the coach from Silver Grove, sure he had Pelle but he is starting to build something in one of the smallest schools in the state.

I have had the chance to watch both teams play alot this year and they both have there ups and downs. Gallatin plays a better team game, but SK has the better talent. If SK plays a good inside out game they should walk out of the gym with the win. But they will have to use all there weapons because there is no way Gallatin lets one guy beat them. Oldham almost got upset in the first round from what I hear from people there who ever comes out the other side of the bracket should be going to rupp. But it is tournments and you just never no.

This looks and sounds like a close game. It just brings up the question of what if. I had a feeling all week that Walton would pull the upset and they where primed to. I give Oldham credit on closing out and moving on that is what the tournment is about survive and advance. But what if ahhhh.:confused:

I think SK by 10 hurd on the inside with Hester running the point will be to much tonight.

I think Gallatin has something to prove tonight since the lost eary in the year. Plus they are the only A school left so now they have to win for the rest of us. But no pressure.

A little early to think this way.

Trust me nobody is overlooking Oldham, I know I'm not.
