Scott County coasts after building the big lead.

Payne of Oldham with 15 points and 12 boards.

Congrats to Scott County on the win. My Colonels had way to many turnovers and missed free throws to give them any kind of shot at winning the game. I'm glad to see that it wasn't a 20-30+ point blow out as most predicted on here.

This proves that Coach Hicks has class. If you saw the game you would have to agree. You have nothing to prove at this point of the season beating a team by 40 points and that was what it headed to before he emptied the bench.

It really was. Scott Co. was up atleast 20 most of the game.

Reasonable final score to a game that the Cardinals totally dominated. Congrats to Scott Co. and to Oldham for a nice season.

Congrats to Scott Co. They totally dominated from start to finish.

As for Oldham Co, you guys had a fine season. Nothing to be ashamed of so keep your heads up. Heck at the beginning of the season you weren't even in people's top 5 to qualify for state. You have really proved yourselves this year and had an awesome experience today. You just got beat by a better team.

Looks like my first game of the tourney will be Adair County vs. Scott County...

I'm very aware but most people didn't see/hear the game so it looks better for Oldham on paper.

It was a tough draw for the 8th this year but Oldham had a great season and just making it to rupp is huge.

Congrats SC. Oldham did the 8th region proud. They never say die.

I thought my Cards played pretty bad today. They never got into a flow. I can't remember the last time Mackey and Walls both had less than 10??? It was a win and advance, but it was not a quality Scott Co. performance. Hopefully the boys are saving that for a little later in the tournament.

Congrats to Coach Forrest and the Colonels. We look forward to next season as the Colonels build from this year.

Coach Hicks has class. He could have won by 30. This works to his advantage as key players didn't have to play as many minutes. Congrats! They will be tough to beat.

Agree not the Scott Co team I have seen play...but a win is a win. In the state tourney it is survive and advance. Congrats to Scott Co. Also congrats to Oldham Co on such a great season and making it out of the 8th region to the State tourney.

Got to finally meet Yoda yesterday....so nice to meet you. You are as nice in person as your post here on BGP, as I knew you would be. :thumb:
