Antoine Robinson,Jordan Morgan,EJ Fields at Frankfort high.Tough to top, especially at the 1A level!

Ammons seems to have turned his play up a notch since last year,which is impressive!Talk around F'fort was he would have a down year because his reciever duo from last year graduated.The fact is,the coaches have groomed some young recievers that are possibly better than last years!Ammons will always make those around him better.(This is no suprise to those of us who have watched him since he dominated the youth leagues at 9 yrs old!)

Polls are ok,but all that matters is who wins the games during the playoffs! (it is fun to see my son's team ranked high, but he won't care about it if they don't do well in the playoffs)

At least this poll seems to be a more close resemblance to reality than cantrall's!

Do yourself a favor and come watch Ammons play.I have never seen one kid make such a difference to a team by himself!:thumb:

Franklin Count is an obvious favorite,but can West Jess give them problems with the offense theY run?

I nominate him for worst idea ever!:mad: so many kids would be robbed of a great memory!It is about them, not nutcase fans and parents like us!

Here's hoping Franklin County's field survives tonight!A few very special people put a lot of time,effort, and money into the Benny Watkins field repairs.(No thanks to our fine school super and board) PS. Hope the lights come on/stay on!!!!

:thumb: If all the naysayers in title town took a look at this sight or picked up a newspaper they would realize that all the teams that have beaten BC are elite teams this year!Henry Clay is one of the state's best teams as are Mercer,and crosstown rival Danville.You have some fine coaches at BC and they need your support!It reminds me of the disrespect that was given to a certain basketball coach that followed Adolph Rupp! All he did was win numerous SEC titles and a national championship but is still berated by fans to this day!It is a no win situation to follow a legend!

I have heard that FC is putting More emphasis on special teams play and are fired up for this game.Look for FC to play from start to finish at full throttle! FC big in this one.

Revere,Israel,Lochnane,among others are the core of last years team, and losing 24 seniors does tranlate into that many contributors.They also had a lot of talent waiting for their chance last year that have picked up where the others left off.

Of course they aren't teaching these techniques to the kids!And all the athletes at Lexcath are devout Catholics,and Elvis Presley is still alive! But seriously,I don't think Harrison is is the same category as Lexcath.Other than a slight dropoff at QB from last year,they basically have the same team that won the championship from last year. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Glad to see someone else thinks that has an effect on the vote! If Revere won it would be as bad as when Charles Woodson won the Heisman instead of Peyton Manning IMO, as good as he is.Kaelin Ammons gets my vote.

Like I have said on a previous post for game changing offensive player,Ammons is a leader with ability as well as heart and LEADERSHIP Which are the qualities you would look for in a QB.Other teams may be successful with other weapons and not rely as heavily on a single player as does FC.He is just a winner plain and simple!

Not sure of all the details but the turnover rate for coaches has been high at WH for the last 4 years!I made the assumption that the previos coaches didn't take a job and WILLINGLY resign after such short tenures.Please correct me if I am wrong.:confused: Does anyone have the number of coaches in the last 4 years,fired ,resigned or otherwise?:confused:

Whatever happens I hope The Western Hills fans give their coach a chance to put a program together instead of firing him like his recent predecessors. builing a football program doesn't happen overnight. EJHS 42 WH 13

Does NCAA Permit contact and scholarship offers during soph season? I thought they couldn't offer until after the season.

Kaelin takes over games with talent on both sides of the ball, but more importantly with his knowledge and WILL TO WIN! BIG TIME TALENT-EVEN BIGGER HEART!

I can say without a doubt that there are going to be plenty of teams that will be glad they have a chance at a rematch against a district rival!Think of it from a player standpoint.You are a senior,you lost to a district team and you might not ever get a shot at them again vs. a very good chance to avenge a loss with this system!

Has Franklin County put last weeks loss behind them or will they let it affect them in this game?What kind of offense is Anderson Co. running?Do they have game breaking athletes?How will AC's defense hold up toFC's offense?

Scheduling Mason and Franklin county may seem like a less than intelligent idea to the casual observer or Panther parents, but is really a great thing for FHS,because it does prepare them for both high caliber run and pass teams defensively.Frankfort high needs to stay with the passing game a little more to keep defenses from stacking up on the run to make a deep run in the playoffs.If they can't have an above average passing game between now and playoff time they don't have a chance against the powerhouse teams IMO. Hopefully the FHS coaching staff will devote more practice time to the passing attack.Good luck to Foley and co. the rest of the season!
