Out of the 6 State champs use a factor similar to the BCS rating system to Name the two teams that will play for the single State championship. We could have 6 Bowl games one for each class, allow businesses to purchase the naming rights to the games example National City 3A bowl.

The Factors could be any combination of factors such as strength of schedule. and wins loses

This would give you the two most powerful teams from the Six state champions. The would be allowed a couple weeks preperation time then have a KHSAA state champion Bowl held in either commonwealth or Pappa Johns switching back and fourth each year.

Why couldn't something like this work.

Wouldn't you Love to see Highlands and Trinity Play for the Ky State championship.

No.

ditto that...NO.

I always wondered how Trinity teams would have faired against those Mayfield teams that had higher Litkenhous ratings in the 70s. Insurance costs probably would keep this from happening if there were more than a single class gap between the competitors. Basketball coaches would scream as well. A handful of states do play 16 games including their playoffs.

I would love it. But I'm from a 6A school. I doubt a 1A school would be interested

Absolutley not!!!!!!!!!!

Would've been real interesting last year.

If we did this what would we argue about in January?

No. The schools are broken by size for a reason. Also, Christmas is too late for football in Kentucky.

No.

I think that this idea could be interesting and fun to see. But in all honesty I think the same few teams would win all the time. Mainly, Trinity, Male, Highlands, etc. Also I don't think too many small schools could begin to compete. I really don't think NCC, even though they are a good team, could compete with Trinity or Male, etc. So even though it would be interesting to watch, I wouldn't want to see it happen.

NO NO NO

NO I might if I were a 4A or a soon to be 6A school. That is why I like the All A B-Ball classic, gives us little schools a chance to compete on a State level

NO....logic says the larger schools would dominate winning most championships in Football.....not easy to match size, speed and more importantly depth, when some schools have 1,500± and others less than 300±.

No way if you did play like that it would be Trinity and St. X. The system is just fine I would like to know though how you get the National Championship.
