Wet Fields for Tonight's Games

Featured Replies

It has been pouring the rain in central KY all morning and from the radar doesn't look like it will be stopping anytime soon.

What are some weather reports from the rest of state? From weather.com it looks as if we are going to have some sloppy fields tonight.

How is the rain going to affect your team tonight?

Johnson Centrals field will be wet, it usually drains pretty quick. We will just have to wait and see come game time.

The rain won't affect the Ashland Tomcats at all tonight. It won't be a problem.

Thankfully or we would have to wait to watch them play on Saturday!

We don't play tonight :dancingpa :dancingpa:dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa

Won't effect the teams on Sports Turf, unless it pours during the game.

Here's hoping Franklin County's field survives tonight!A few very special people

put a lot of time, effort, and money into the Benny Watkins field repairs.(No thanks to our fine school super and board)

PS. Hope the lights come on/stay on!!!!

How will a brand new turf field hold up tonight for its first game in the rain?

Does the sports turf get slick when it's wet. I've played on it but not in the rain? Just curious.

It's still raining solid in central KY. Bad night for a Homecoming game.

Only in a downpour. Steady rain soaks into the rubber pellets. Just makes the football slick. Got to double skin the ball every play.
