JC should win this week. Ratings are all fine and dandy... but it doesnt matter if your not number 1 after the season is over with.

Who were Manual's wins against?
Eastern, Meade Co, and Warren Central.

I'm pretty sure the Trinity loss is the only one that counts against Manual, the Lit doesn't take into account out of state competition. So that's not a bad loss, and statistically there were some good things even in that game.

Hey we've beaten two of those.

Hey we've "beaten" two of those.

Next to St. Xavier in the rankings, what does it say the record is? I really hope X fans aren't going to be like this all year. If X wins out and wins state, are we going to have to listen to them all season about how they were 'undefeated?'

As far as I'm concerned, X had their butts handed to them for 10 minutes. The official record will show that X was behind when the game was called, and officially has a loss. Sadly, we won't get to see what the team was made of on that day. I really hope to see Trinity again in the playoffs, for a full 48 minutes of play.

X will have to improve upon their showing though if they want to get the opportunity to show they're a better team than they did.

At least this poll seems to be a more close resemblance to reality than cantrall's!

Do you really expect any less from some members?

The "Lits" get close about week nine.

It clearly states 4-1 for St.X. In defense of the X faithful, most have accepted the outcome of Friday's game. Like the rest of us, they wish it could have been played but they accept the KHSAA's rule.

I love everything about Football including the LIT ratings. I for one am expecting the players to have moved on, and left the rest of it for us to debate. After the first hit of the next game when I played, I had usually forgotten everything except what was in front of me. Has this changed for the kids today? A hard practice the Monday following has a way of bringing the next game into focus also. I believe for most programs, HS football has such a demand for a players attention, during the season especially, that until someone plays their last game as a senior, they still point mostly forward with their thoughts. I for one, since I can't play anymore, share next week with last week, last year and my years. Thank God for the privledge of working to play in the game. Because I was a part of a team I can simply watch any game now and celebrate all of everything that is Friday nights. When people ask me why I support my son playing given the almost every game possibility of injury, I worry for a second and then remember all the things that make it what it really is and causes IMO a lot of the strength of arguments on BGP - the best team sport, at the most pure level - High School. How many other websites are most of us reading and responding to? For most of us, at least during the season, Friday Night is every day if you want it to be. STXMAN.

Who were Manual's wins against?

One was against Breathitt County at Breathitt. They won in week two of the season 35 to 15. They have extremely good running backs, IMHO.
