At my age I did have a hard time seeing the numbers of the players. Maybe the announcer was having the same problem, 25 could be seen as 2 and vice versa.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Ashland wins this one.

I don't think that the game this year will be a blowout but a lot closer game. The game is at Prestonsburg and they will be ready to play and you never know what might jump out of the grass at you.

Definitely two solid players that stick out with their size, but others on the line as well are playing good now.

It was a good first road win for the Tomcats. Matt Thomas and Davis Fields.....er...... I mean Matt Davis...no.....Fields Davis, that's it. I will give Portsmouth West credit, their sound system was better than Putnam Std.:irked:And the announcer did liven things up in the stands. :lol: But back to the game, I felt like the Cats would struggle a bit after the emotional win over Russell and then pull away just as I figured. The O-line does deserve a lot of credit for Ashland's rejuvenated ground attack, it seemed the Cats were effective quite often between the tackles tonight as they were last week. The passing game seemed to struggle tonight more than usual but in the end it was not needed. But overall a good win. :banana:

This sounds like an awful lot of bitterness from past Paintsville success in this series.:scared:

After the emotional game last weekend, the Cats start out slow but put it together late to win by 14. Ashland 28 Portsmouth West 14

Raceland has had a successful start to the season thus far, but by some of the scores predicted so far I hope that overconfidence is not settling in on the Ram camp after some big wins this year. Raceland has a chance at having a good season but must overcome a lot of talented..... and...... luckyteams in the playoffs to win it all. If I am not mistaken they are not in the playoffs yet, and maybe need to focus on that and not let the carriage get ahead of the horse.

I expect this game to be closer than what most people expect. Raceland wins by a touchdown. 28-21

I know we put a hurtin' on them last year but I thought they had a good record last season with their running back who was putting up some big numbers. Maybe someone can help on this one.

Russell definitely has to do more than just show up as with all teams.
