  1. I believe Holmes is going to take the W in this one. But I cannot wait to see Jefferson and Vories go against eachother, that is going to be one exciting matchup.
  2. I know Simon Kenton played Holy Cross I believe last Thursday night, but I am not sure of the outcome. If anyone has any information whether its upcoming games or past games please post!
  3. It seems whether or not Simon Kenton is leading or losing at the half the come out the same way, with their heads down. I dont understand this at all, why put your head down when your up by 7 to one of the top teams in Northern Kentucky or even when you are down by 7 to one of the top teams in Northern Kentucky. If the came out with some fire and intensity in them they would definately have a few more wins. But until they find that leader that will make them come out strong and pumped up in the second half, they better just try to blow out their opponents in the first half because that is when they stop playing their game.
  4. I am definately going to have to pick a copy of that up....!!!
  5. At the Simon Kenton game tonight the 1981 State Champions are going to be recognized, I expect a rather large turn out for this one. So if you are coming get there early. Anyone going to this one...I would love to put some faces to these names on here!?
  6. I have heard from a very very trustable source for this subject that Jefferson will be playing against the Colonels! So count him in.
  7. I hate to see the Neers 7 game winning streak come to an end, but I am glad that it came to a solid basketball team.
  8. Does anyone know the outcome of this game?
  9. How can you not, Hester might be stronger in some areas of the game than Phil, but overall Phil is the best player on the team. He is definately the best defensive player, the biggest offensive threat whether it is passing or shooting, has the most heart on the team, and never gets down on himself. If Hester messes up in the game he starts shakeing his head and when he gets taken out it seems that him and Coach Steiner have words everytime. You will not get that out of Phil, he will listen to what the coach has to say and will go right back in the game and do what the Steiner tells him. If it came down to it I would take Schambach on my team over Hester.
  10. Seth is suppose to be out for 6-8 weeks due to a bad back. I know he recently got a steroid injection into his back to deal with the pain. So you will see him on the bench in normal street clothes more often. But other than that I do not know of anyone on Oldham's team that can compete with Phil Schambach, I will go to say that Phil is the Pioneers best player. He is definately the best defensive player and he is such a threat on offense with the way he can hit the three with someone up on him and drive to the basket either creating an easy 2 points for him self or he looks for the kick out. A very dangerous player IMO.
  11. Hopefully Simon Kenton is getting new Home gear because they look just awful...but their away uni's look great.
  12. Not 100% sure on this one but Simon Kenton has been scrimmaging NCC and Pendelton County for as many years as Pendleton Co. has had a team and for atleast 5 years for NCC so I do not see anything changing this year.
  13. So really Tabor is the only key player left for the Braves?
  14. Simon Kenton @ Grant County, January 20. The first game SK only won by 11 but many thought that it would not be that close one bit. But I look for this one to be a little different with the Pioneers takeing the W once again but this time SK 74-53
  15. Does number 6 Krohman have any relation to the former Simon Kenton great?
  16. How many points did Sharpe have tonight??
  17. Yes, he started one game at corner for varsity, started all the games for jv at corner and went on to letter his sophomore year and looked to be a starter at the linebacker position for this past season until the injury occured.
  18. Yes, Frank played with Josh Hurd, Seth Blevins, Allen Clark, Ricky Parrott, Josh Elbert, and Brandon Schoborg. Whom all play for Simon Kenton...besides Schoborg who played last year but can no longer play sports due to multiple back injuries.
  19. If I remember correctly the first game wasnt much of a game at all. Walton's big men (most of the time it was Franklin Daughetery) had his way with Hurd. But Hurd still had a decent game
  20. Howard...I have been to many games this year to see many different players play, and not yet have I seen a big man with that is up to his talent.
