The NKY Top 24 are also kids that from what I understand get nominated for the "Thats My Boy" Award for kids that not only play football but are also good students or so they say. Apparently some schools don't always check the criteria for this award before sending a kids name in. The award should be for a kid who gives his best on the football field, is an excellent student and is liked and respected by fellow students, coaches and faculty. Hopefully some schools will do a better job before sending in someones name that doesn't meet these qualifications. Just being a good football player does not qualify one for the NKY Top 24 and especially the "Thats My Boy Award".

Probably not. Should of practiced where he played IMO..And yes Ludlow has always had a nice gym that was always well maintained. Daddy Draud never misses an opportunity to pat himself on the back..

With all due respect qs but from reading your past posts it is obvious you have strong ties and loyalty to Coach Yeagle and for that I commend you but if I'm an AD and School Board I would strongly have to take into consideration the baggage he brings and in my opinion it isn't overstated and as for being past history who's to say it wouldn't rear it's ugly head once again when he is back in the thick of things again.. Sorry qs as great a coach as he, I still believe you are taking a huge risk in hiring him.

Yeagle would be the big name that the Conner program might be looking for but with that comes a lot of baggage. I'd be inclined to look towards Wolfe. He should have gotten the CCH job IMO.

How many times a year is there going to be a thread on this topic? Each and everytime it turns out to always be the same answer. CCH is the very best and I'm not sure there is a close 2nd.

Draud at number 7 is a bit of a reach IMO. Top 25 yes but not top 10. Give me Dicky Beal any day over Draud. As for the "Old" Ludlow gym that he was allowed to practice in for some reason, the place was only 15 years old or so at the time. Not old by any means IMO. It wasn't in disrepair and the floor wasn't as awful as he and dad want to suggest and if it were then Jon Draud had been the Superintendent at Ludlow for about 5 to 6 years at the time. He should have fixed it. Maybe he should have done his shooting over in Ft Thomas where he chose to play instead of the school he lived a block away from (Dixie) or the one his dad was the Super. at (Ludlow) Just one mans opinion.

:laugh: But I do like this thread and all the others that are started about this same topic..Most of the time they make me laugh.. But I am aloud to disagree and can talk about it in a way that maybe some don't agree with on here or has something changed on here I'm not aware of.

:thumb: I would agree..HHS has absolutely no reason to hang there heads. They are still and will be for the forseeable future the standard by which all programs in NKY and thru out the state measure themselves by..I commend their program and their players..I like others could just live without all the analysis day in and day out..

:laugh: You are Numero Uno when it comes to Bluebird excuses. :cry: So here is a thought on the Bluebird season..IT'S OVER!!!! Get over it.

Next year pay attention to Ludlows Jarrett Rouse to Buddy Lunsford. Lunsfords becames Rouses favorite target after numerous injuries to other receivers at Ludlow and they hooked up for 20 receptions and over 200 yards in the last 2 games of the year. They should make for an exciting tandem next year.

I happen to enjoy the 2 or 3 posters from the various schools who aren't afraid to sling a little smack. They make the site interesting. IMO. Unfortunately some aren't able to participate as they once were. Sort of seems like it depends on which school you happen to back..IMO

Like 85% of the teams in the state of Ky. Highlands season is over. We can only hope all the lame excuses will be over in the next few days..

NCC is really rolling now and seldom does a team from the Eastern part of KY give teams like NCC or Beechwood much trouble...NCC 34 Raceland 14

Congratulations to Ludlows Jodi Schmidt on another outstanding season. What a terrific job she continues to do at Ludlow.

It is pretty much happening year in and year out now. The KHSAA doesn't enforce their rules so have at it..No one cares to abide by rules anymore anyway....
