doubledeuce
We will try again. Who are the leading candidates, in your opinion , to fill the position? And why?
The Bowl Man
1. Mike Yeagle If he wants it and if he does, think of the change in power in NKY 6A. I don't know how many kids leave Conner for other schools but they will stay to play for him. He could get kids out that are walking the walls that won't play for others. He has the right background to put a winner on the field now. 2. Mike Wolfe I think he would make a great head coach. He has played for winners and he is coaching at a winner now. I think he would bring the right group of assistants with him to be successful. It might take sometime for him to put a winner on the field but he will, just like Warner is doing now. I'm sure there are others that I am leaving out.

I would wonder what direction the Principal has in mind, if any. Yeagle's name alone would energize a stagnant program.

tkkrcats
I have a feeling we shall see soon enough . . . . . . . . . Soon if he is going to apply? Or soon they will make up their mind? If I remember correctly, I think you said it has to be posted for 30 days.

Sandman
Is Schlarman looking to leave Newport? Wouldn't he be a candidate. Ekstein had a tough year at Bellevue, could he be a contender? Is Lucas staying at Lloyd, or will he try to make a move?

quickslick
It's just a pattern I've noticed... I respect your opinion, but I wouldn't bet the farm on this one. There are a couple schools that Yeagle has always been intrigued with. Conner would be one of them. Besides . . . . .he may have already thrown his name in the hat. pnthr4life
If Yeagle is interested in getting back to coaching, and I have no idea one way or the other, it would seem Conner would be a great situation for him. It would be hard for me to believe that there are too many more qualified candidates looking for a new opportunity.
