Come on Guys give me your opinions... Who are the best players in the state of Kentucky and who are the best teams?

In the 9th Region the Tri-Cty Rebels, uh sorry I mean the Boone Cty Rebels are clearly heads above the rest.

Always starting trouble. They have one transfer and the whole region is in an uproar, why is that? This was discussed on another thread.

 

He is right, BCHS is the team to beat in the 9th and they were before the transfer.

I think that would technically be the tri-county rebels. But like 3ptshooter said this was discussed in another thread. I would have to put Boone in the top 10 in the state just don't know where.I don't know enough yet about the other teams. Maybe someone with more knowledge about the entire State could chime in. The easy picks would be Lexington Catholic and Scott County.

Rebecca Gray, Scott County Cardinals, IMO, the top player in the state.

Tamara Sneed is the most talented player in the 9th but Shannon Klei has a better work ethic and will get the job done on a nightly basis.

Last I looked CTY was an abbreviation for County so I was technically calling then the Tri- County Rebels as you suggest. Any mention of transfers at Boone Cty and it brings out the 2 or 3 members on here who have a rooting interest in the Rebels to circle the wagons once again.

Anyway the Rebels, wherever they all come from should be very good. Best in the 9th Region and a Top 5 team in the state IMO.

LexCath and SC are the best teams until someone proves otherwise. Gray is definitely the top player in the state and will be Miss KY Basketball as long as she has another great year, IMO. LexCath will have a different look now that Stevenson transferred to Bryan Station, but right now they are still the team to beat.

 

Contrary to unpopular belief, the tri-CTY or County or whatever Rebels are not heads above every team in the 9th region. Although on paper they may be considered the favorite they are in a group with 3-4 other teams and any one of them could make a 3-game run to win the region. There are 15+ teams better than them in the state. They have no superstar players that are even considered when the best players in the state are discussed.

 

cshs81...Klei did sign with Ball State. I hope Sneed gets a D1 offer. Unfortunately without much help she doesn't get the opportunity to do everything she is capable of doing so a lot goes unnoticed. I heard she took the summer off (or most of it). If so, I think it was a mistake during a critical time in her HS career, but that's just an opinion.

Sneed has all the potential in the world to get a D1 offer but over the past couple of years her work ethic and drive has begun to slip. Yes that is true that she took off the summer.

Katie Allen (Frosh) Highlands. Impact player. Played well last year as an 8th grader.

Haley Ratliff should leave Pike Central as the school's all-time leader in points, assists, steals, and possibly as the leader in rebounds as well. She played in the State Tournament as a Fr. and has a legitimate chance to get back there her Sr. year.

Katie is a good player but no where near a top player in the state.
