Off night for the Devils. They just looked lathargic from the opening kick off thru the 1st half. Fall Break, Lazy Practices ETC.... This team is still in need of a TEAM leader. To many show caseing. Russell needs to understand that they are the AA State Champs and teams are not going to go away just when they show up. To late in the season to play like this. Time to get ready to make your run. Agree. America needs to make a stand back on its principal and values on what this great country was bilt upon. And parents need to teach this to there children and not wait upon the school systems to do so. Always at Russell. Should be over after the first TD. The starters need to play the 1st half like it's the second half and lay it all out the 1st half. All players should get playing time. Would like to see more Jr & Soph play before the Frosh players. Morgan co was plagued with injuries. This team is better when healthy. Good to see all the players get in the game. Hope this win don't bite Russell down the road by the starters not getting playing time. A lot of different offensive looks friday. Gullett is really being a team leader on both sides of the ball. Congrats to Ivan and his wife. Thanks for all the years. Well deserving of naming the field. Russell knocked some more rust off this week and has need of some adjustments. Some players need to remember it takes 11 on the field. There is no "I" in team. Ethan Gullett was the leader friday night. #23 Evans kicking game is looking good. Keep up the confidence. Hope to see some changes for Friday night. This game will set up Russell for the start of district play next week. Forgive Russell for being in the Eastern part of the state. But the way it looks. Whether your 1-A, 2-A, 3-A, Russell is the better team in Eastern Ky football. Say what you want. That is a fact. And when you are the tops every one aims at that target on your back. Which Russell cares with pride. So wheather your a Tomcat, Musketeer, Lion, Raider, Rambler, Comet, Bulldog, etc.... You have to admit that Russell is tops when it comes to football in this part of the state. HANDS DOWN.:fire: :fire: :fire:

Don't look at the record in those years. Look at the strength of the schedule. Russell wins hands down in the 80's and beyond. Gotta give you credit for have Rambler pride.

I think we all know why Russell doesn't play the Ramblers. Not to stir up things but it goes along ways back. And I will leave it at that. Russell and Raceland was AT ONE TIME good rivalry games. But it will not happen under Ivan's era. Russell would gain nothing by playing a 1-A school. Yes Raceland has a good program and long tradition. But Russell has too. I would like to see Ironton, Wheelersburg, West Portsmouth , Portsmouth on the schedule. :fire: :fire: :fire:

Agree, but this game should have been a blow out. Bath Co is one of the weakest team in the region this year and Russell should have dominated. What happens if Taylor blows up and then who do you turn to? Good luck Russell Against Boyd Co. they can be beat.
