I know I turned the radio on with almost 8 minutes left in the third quarter and it was like 41-7. Russell already was subbing. Heard West Carter return a KO for a TD then Russell kick a FG. Turned radio back off.

Well, Like I said, I only listened to part of the 3rd quarter and I didn't have any cut outs happen, but I will say this. This is the first time this year I have listened to the Devils on the radio, but the Radio crew has improved a ton.

Good win for the Devils. Tyler Jones played really well and looked like he's getting comfortable at the QB position. I think that's all he needed was to get comfortable being the QB. He's throwing the ball very well now. The coaches have spent some time teaching him correct mechanics and it's really shown. He's stepping into throws now instead of throwing of his back foot like he was doing at the start of the season and it's been paying dividens. I have been very impressed with his attitude and commitment of learning the position..... Dallas Sutton also played well in place of injured Jacob Sizemore. He was all over the place and was doing some hitting out there. It's great to see someone step up when asked to.....Also, congrats to Dwayne Evans for making a 45 yd FG. He works really hard all year to do the sometimes thankless job of being kicker.

Russell continues their stride toward the playoffs. The starter got to play a little more playing time (1 half) than they have been lately. I look for them to start playing longer and longer with the playoffs not TOO far away. Congrats to the DEVILS.

Coach Brown at West Carter is always a class act and shows everyone great hospitality whenever we go visit Olive Hill. He is a great coach who gets to most of his players and is one of the best sportsman in the area. Good luck to the Comets the rest of the year.

Anyone know what is wrong with Nick Lewis. The radio crew seemed to think it was a collar bone problem. Also what about Jones they said he limped off the field?

I had no official word about Nick, but it was the collar bone and it was possible

he either broke it or dislocated his shoulder. I believe it was on a kickoff tackle

that he went down hard and then kind of got dog piled. It sounded like he

went to KDMC during the game. But again, I had no official word. As

for Tyler I didn't hear anything, but yes he did limp off the field late in the

third quarter.

Good game by the Comets and good luck the rest of the year. I can see West making the playoffs still year for the first time in a long time.
